BMW F30 Auxiliary/Cigarette lighter DIY fuse replacement.

DIY and save $50/$60 bucks!
Quick demo on how to get power back to your front auxiliary/cigarette lighter socket.
Car type for this demo: 2014 F30/328
For the front socket, its easy to blow the fuse if a penny or other
metal item drops in there. Mine was blown since I bought the car,
just got around to replacing it a year later :)
The fuse numbers apply for the F30, and perhaps other models (check for yourself to be sure)

fuse slot 66 : Front power socket
fuse slot 69 : Rear passenger area power socket
The rear power socket fuse is in the trunk area.
You'll need 20A standard fuses to replace blown ones.

Fuse 69 is for the 12 volt lighter socket below the glove box 😊

Thank you. Very informative. 66 had gone on mine, as some shiz had fallen into the socket, shorting it. only difference was, on my RHD F31 330d, the fusebox is on the opposite side. 👍🏻

This socket use a 20A fuse Nr 69

Audio system on these cars is fiber optic, and works on what is called the MOST bus. Strange noises or signals in the audio output is indicative of a problem in the bus, or one of its modules. Not terribly difficult to diagnose, but it does require some knowledge and a scan tool.

My cigarette lighter blew when I stuck needle nose pliers in to get some peice of paper out and I couldn't figure out where the fuse box was because the book didn't specify exactly where it was thanks for your video !!! Fuse was 3erd 1 down on the right !
