I don't do negative comments, but......For me, Towers and Thorpe are both 1hr 40 from my house. As much as I love towers for nostalgia, etc, I see no reason to visit for quite a while. An old/new flat ride isn't going to change much. Seriously, I hope they can turn things around in the next 12/24 months.
@@CatsnCoasters some of the magic has gone from towers recently and it’s sad to see. For me a new ride is always a good thing! 🤞🤞 for the future of towers :)
Thingis with Hex if you follow Towersnews it was knly closed for so long to fix the ride system itself so i personally dont get the expectation for it to be different. Suretye marketing hyped its return but they were always going make a song dance abouutthe reopening of such a popular ride.
We were told in a video from the park to expect some exciting changes….. that suggests some noticeable changes. Unfortunately that’s not what we got. I’m glad it’s back open and it’s had a refresh and is looking good though.
Hex was an almost perfect ride as it was, there was no need to change it. It was neglected and we should be happy that they invested in fixing it at all rather than just getting rid, as the previous management would likely have done. It isn't and wont ever be a massively popular ride but the fact they have spent the money on it is a positive thing in a very underwhelming season for Towers i in general.
Totally agree I think it’s just how they marketed the reopening to get people on it again. Although would have love to have seen the pre show videos updated
the title of this video really is starting to me question being excited when i haven’t even watch it yet 😕 i feel like people’s excitement is ruining by others
Compound was very enjoyable imo, unlike Altonville. The Attic was repetitive but there was some decent acting. Altonville lacked a lot of actors and I didn’t understand the story, where tf was tinie? There needs to be way more scare zones at scarefest- because Burial Grounds is too family friendly, we need some intense zones back like Dark Apocalypse or Zombies. Too much paid experiences and not enough free things around the park!
Totally agree with how you’ve described scarefest, there to scared to push the boat out, when you go to Thorpe at 3pm the atmosphere changes you don’t get that at towers unfortunately, I guess we can all dream of a more intense scarefest one day!!
