An actual good comedy… Ok, sorry for being a grammar pedant about the title. Love that you guys finally saw Bottoms, one of my favorite comedies of the last decade. So funny and stupid in the best way.

I read that Marshawn Lynch decided to play Mr G in this movie to atone for initially reacting badly when his sister came out as a lesbian. Luckily, they've mended fences, and he even gave her away at her wedding.

This film reminded me of Scott Pilgrim not only in the absurd sense of humor, but also in just how terrific of an ensemble it is with young actors at the beginning of their careers.

After watching all previous videos and catching up, I think you’d both at least enjoy Reservoir Dogs, it has the action and character driven elements that Jake likes and the dialogue and storytelling Nadia does, at least I’m pretty sure, I know you both like the same things *sometimes* so I’m not saying you two only enjoy polar opposites.

The best aspect of the jokes in the movie is that they are always criticizing something and they remove all the layers we put on things to sugar coat them and go right to the heart of things and magnify the issue.
The idolization of the football team and their literal dominance over everything in the school (that panel of Michelangelo's The Creation of Adam behind the jocks being a great visual gag).
Or how the Cheerleaders basically don't dance, they just make hypersexualized movements or outright just have water thrown in them as if the movie "This is what you want. So here it is".
Another one that I've barely seen anyone commenting is when that girl is doing the car wash to raise money, all the guys surrounding here are absolute creeps, even taking photos.
This movie is an instant classic, that's for sure.

I went almost on a whim with my partner and there friends, not even convinced I'd really like it that much. I genuinely don't remember the last time I laughed that hard in the theater.

I went with my gf and her friend and they were both really excited for it but they left super disappointed. I didn't think it was funny or had that much of a message
