Thankyou very much for the video. I was born in Paignton, and lived there for some years... Oh, the times I walked this beach, learned to swim in the sea, ate do-nuts at the harbour, rowed boats, walked into the harbour entrance on very low tides, splashed off the seawall, and drove the road. So many memories.
I used to spend Summers in Paignton as a kid in the 80s and early 90s. I love that town so much. Regularly stayed at the Great Western Hotel and have many fond memories of this town and all the good restaurants and amusement arcades. It's barely changed in 30 years, albeit the tourism has suffered a lot with more people going abroad. I'll always associate this town with the innocence of being a kid & much happier, safer times. Great video, and pads of good memories !
i live in paignton and yes it is lovely! we are a friendly family fun town! and how lucky those migrants are with that sea view and beach front hotel.....
Thank you for bringing back happy memories of many holidays spent there, not been for many years only thing that looks different is the cars parked all along the seafront ..
Thanks for another lovely seaside walk. Bonus two in one day! My highlight was seeing the thatched roof cottage with the pink flowers surrounding it. Gorgeous! :)
Thank you so much for your tours. We are looking at camping in different areas as a family and it's very informative to see the town centres and beaches. Paignton and Brixham look lovely.
Happy holiday memories, last time I was there was over 10 years ago if not longer!! The part when walked from the harbour under the tunnel(4.05 into the video), There used to be a gift shop on the right and an ice cream shop on the left... Which is now boarded up!!
Thanks for this. Even managed to get my daughter jogging, lol. Used to spend a lot of time in Paignton when I was growing up as we had family there. Nice to see the old place again.
Another great & fantastic video of PAIGNTON | Full seafront tour of Paignton Devon from the Harbour to Paignton beach and pier!!.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lovely walk again, although you didn’t get to the other end of the town where we stayed, I suspect that will come later. We stayed in Paignton in 1989, there was another family with children the same age as ours who we got on well with. We drove to Brixham with them and stopped at a Go Kart track on the way then had a look round The Golden Hind and some fish and chips. We got the steam train to Kingswear and the ferry across to Dartmouth where we had a trip up the river. We went to the theatre at Babbacombe to watch No Sex Please We’re British starring Benny from Crossroads. The couple with the children went to the Babbacombe Model Village where the Close Encounters Flying Saucer didn’t so they were given tickets to go again, as they were going home the next day they gave them to us and the Saucer flew fine when we went.
Only discovered your channel this week when I watched your Southport tour. Paignton is our favourite holiday destination and we go there every September, we’ve been going for over 24 years and still love it. My only criticism is you didn’t walk the full sea front up to Preston beach.
I don't always film the full thing when I go places - it all depends on time that I have there What I do is film a place quickly, post it on TH-cam, then read the comments and look for places I might have missed, information about the place etc and then go back Will definitely walk to Preston Beach on the second one

I've lost count of the amount of times I've walked this route. One of the perks of living in a seaside resort i guess my dog loves it down here
As an ex paigntonian I love seeing my old town again , been away over 60 years , thanks

Cockington Village is also beautiful with all its thatched cottages.
Is Paignton nice place to live
It’s ‘ok’
We went this year. We found Brixham far nicer than Paignton. Paignton was a little bit of a disappointment. Bit run down and untidy.
I had lovely one night in peighton
Keep the public out
