How to Catch Multiple Big Striper Using Umbrella Rigs

The birds have been the best sonar on Lake Texoma, they know where the fish are and sit on the water waiting patiently for the striper to feed and push bait to the top. Finding a feeding school can make for some epic fishing, and you can maximize fishing under the birds using A Rigs, Sassy Shad or Thumping with jigs or bait.
Today, I fished with Ed Musser a retired fishing guide. We trolled Captain Mack’s A Rigs 175-225’ behind the boat (25-35’ deep) and crushed the striper including a triple hook up and a double and single on two rigs at the same time! We put some quality fish in the boat and released several to fight another day!
