- This is the most frustrating game since The Impossible Quiz.
In this video I do a walkthrough/tutorial of beating the Password Game and successfully completing all 35 rules to create that password. The rules get crazy and a bit ridiculous, but in the end you'll have the most secure password you've ever created.
The new Password Game by Neal Agarwal has released recently, and people have having a lot of trouble beating it. Especially Rule 16, where you have to solve a chess puzzle (just use lichess!). It's so difficult, that even the creator hasn't beat his own game.
The game was created by Neal Agarwal, the creative coder that makes cool games and posts on his website neal.fun. If you haven't already for some reason, check out his website and The Password Game. He makes some really great stuff.

*FAQ!*
*1) "My elements won't add up, even without H's it goes over 200!"*
Sometimes the elements do end up going over 200, at which point you may have to restart. But before you do that, check to make sure:
a) You're not capitalizing anything that doesn't need to be capitalized. This includes countries and months.
b) The URL of the video can be different. See further in the FAQ for how to beat the TH-cam video rule.
*2) "I can't beat the chess puzzle / The puzzle says the move is illegal"*
a) If the game says your chess move is illegal, make sure you are writing in proper chess notation. The square the piece you're trying to move should align with a column labelled a letter and a row labelled a number. Make sure those two match up in your notation (ex: Ne5 means you're moving a knight to the square on column e and row 5). Make sure you put "+" in front of the notation if it's check.
b) If the chess puzzle is just too difficult, go to lichess.org and set up the position in their analysis board under tools > analysis board. Once it's set up, turn on the engine (the button in the top right corner) and copy down the first notation you see in the line it suggests.

Here's some strategies:
a) Find language, then translate it. Use the language that it is to find the country it's spoken in.
b) Find flags. Match them with their country.
c) Colder, more mountainous regions are usually northern.

e) Put the image through a reverse google image search
f) Use Inspect Element to find the coordinates
And my personal suggestion:
g) Copy your password, and restart the game. Paste your password in, fix the captcha, and then try your hand with the new location.

AGREED! But there is a way. A better way. Blazing fast speedrunner Bleach (@bleachdev on youtube) has created a table with the URL's for any video length. They are free of roman numerals or those annoying elements. Use their list, and go watch their channel because their speedruns are super impressive.

You can. But I'd say bolding just the vowels keeps things organized and reduces italics later on.

For the geoguessr rule I pasted a list of all the countries then deleted list sections until the rule was unchecked, and used ctrl z to find what country I deleted
They made the Geoguessr part more difficult by not allowing you to move, or every time I'm playing I'm having the bad luck of getting an area with no streets or walkways to move through
I have a problem with the fire bit, and I am on mobile, how do I fix this how, now I'm having another problem, I can't switch between pages or it will reset for the timer thing
i've never seen this game but "your password should include the name of this country" and it's just Geoguesser is the funniest thing i've seen tonight.
It's like the dev was playing and needed help so he made an entire game so other people can play geoguesser for him

According to my guts, I think the password will take supercomputer around 8billion years to crack. actually could take even more. but that depends if hardware is not upgraded during attack, otherwise the time might be shorter with faster hardware.
@@mearetom Considering 10,000 different types of characters and emojis, and bold, italic, font sizes and types, there are 3240000^211 possible password combinations, or 5.31x10^1373. A super computer can calculate 1x10^9 possible combinations per second. It will thus take 5.31*10^1364 seconds to brute force this password. which is 1.68x10^1357, or 10 Quadringenunquinquagintillion years.

Fun Fact: for the map one you can inspect element and look for the that has coordinates and paste them on google maps
just look down the road, you'll find a name of that road, then you google it and you'll find the country
I just pasted a list of every country and removed chunks until it said I was wrong then fine tuned it.

Passwords are never stored, only the hashes of them, so even in case of a data breach no one knows your password, thankfully.

The secret Paul tech that nobody tells you is that if you place Paul in a row on his own and press enter after him to add spaces between him and the wormies, he will eat the spaces instead of the wormies and you can spam enter to create more spaces. The only downside is that if your youtube link or any other text is below the spaces, the highlighting to tell you what letters are wrong is messed up and out of place, but I beat the game using this strategy to manage Paul. Also, a funny side effect is if you place text in these spaces, Paul will eat the text.

@@timothy747 yes, but only with actual worms. If this works it lets you substitute something that won't trigger overfeeding for the worms, so you can just put in a thousand or so.
I saw a youtuber do this on accident after getting annoyed with paul and spamming enter.

If you didn't copy your password, you don't have to manually retype it. You can simply edit the page to make the password selectable.
or just use inspect element and copy the text there
@@bruj_yeahyou can't really copy from there, because text in inputs does not appear there. But, as was said earlier, you could change input to selectable.
uhm actually you dont need to type in a password at all, you can just edit the page's scripts to instantly skip every rule

If you search "Password Game Speedrun" on TH-cam, you'll find that a guy called Bleach (@bleachdev) uses a file he made where you can search up any time and get the TH-cam URL for it. It's much faster than searching manually.

I'm working on making a password that can immediately solve the game. I've currently found an array for every capctha that can appear, every chess game that can appear, and every country.
If all goes well, I should be able to make a password that has about a 10% chance of immediately solving the game. Or at least with like 5 copy pastes within a second or 2.

@tBagley43 that's why I say 10% chance. There are a few games it chooses from, I'm able to pick like 13 games without going over the number cap or atomic number count.

try marcroing the input so you can beat the game near infinite times, reloading the game included. We want to see the world burn.
There should be a leader board after you complete the game at the end. The leader board tells you how fast you were and how many characters, mistakes, corrections, etc. You had to make.
Too bad game design for a leader-board.
additional thing: you can give Paul like 8* worms and he still won’t get overfed

@@ScienceD9000 People who want things to be simple I suppose. But also as far as limitations go, a lot of it comes down to coding. The sites themselves end up not caring as much about security, so rather than code it so you can have few/no limitations, they find it easier to just restrict things that would break their code.

I was so freacking close, all I had to do was waiting, but Paul starved.
I would like to add a couple of tips that I discovered, and they involve Inspect Element.
1: With the hex code one, you can actually inspect element the color box, and find the RGB value. Paste that into a converter (Google has one). Keep checking until you get one that works with your numbers, forbidden letters, etc. That's how I managed it.
2: Open Inspect Element, and go into the Debugger tab. Now... press the little pause button. Congratulations, you now have all the time you need to do whatever you want! Your game is paused until you resume script execution. Paul can't eat anymore worms while paused, so you don't have to stress about staying at the computer or checking back every minute or two while searching for things.
for the retyping the password part, you can just copy the tag from the original password, delete the tag from the new one and paste the old tag where the new one was (right click the div the tag was in to paste it properly)
for the geogeusser one you can inspect element, open the , the javascript will contain coordinates, look for a pair of decimal numbers [num,num].
The dedication on that I gave up at the TH-cam link thing when the chicken got over feed so good job happy to be your 23rd subscriber

also, i thought this was going to be some meme video where you pasted 74 bililon characters into your password, but you actually solved it, good job :)
You can also reload the page and do it all over again until it gives you a place that has hints (like I got some place where there was the Colombian flag painted or something)
or just paste the image into Bing if you think it might recognise it

This game was very frustrating but definitely satisfying when you finally do it! My best score was 101 characters; I'm genuinely curious if anyone has gotten lower or whether it's even possible, because all the prime numbers below that are very difficult.
Another tip for the last rule is you technically don't need to put in your actual time. You can go into your computer's settings and change the time zone, so the game registers a time that's more convenient for the digits rule. Granted, this can only change the hour of the time not the minutes, but it allows for more flexibility not having to play at a specific time of the day.

3:02 For the hex color there is another way to find it. For anyone using Windows on their computer, there’s something called Microsoft Powertoys which has a bunch of neat features and tools, one among them being a color picker. Having all of the stuff might be overwhelming for some people, so I don’t necessarily recommend for someone who isn’t computer savvy. But for anyone interested, I use them all the time and would highly recommend giving it a shot!
macOS has a similar tool built in called digital color meter
GNOME on Linux has a handy extension.
I kept getting hex codes that I would paste in, none of them would work… I did it with and without the pound. I used several tools, but nothing worked.

Dont forget, if you are on a computer, you can press F12 to open console, then go to the elements tab, then select the rule box and do some stuff idk how to say and it will show the hex.

On the country name rule, if you get spawned in the middle of a desert or any unrecognizable landscape with no text, you can just search “all countries names”. The rule will light up and if you want only the country you need, just start deleting until the rule turns red, then you can deduce which country it is.
Instead of deleting the countries 1 by 1, try deleting half the list instead. If the rule is not satisfied, the country is in the half that you deleted. If it is, it is in the other half. Repeat this until you find the country.

The geoguesser one is actually quite easy. Google for 'list of all countries' and then you can just copy the entire list into the password and delete countries until it 'fails' the country that failed last is the country for the geoguesser. (process of elimination and all that)

By the way, you don't have to try all of these countries. Copy paste the entire list, delete the half of the list. If the rule is not satisfied, the country is in the half that you deleted. If the rule is satisfied, it is in the other half.

Another tip: for the geoguessr one, you can describe the place to chat GPT and it'll solve it 95% of the time.
Take a screenshot and upload it to bing AI, it'll solve it most of the time.

so, the "sacrifice letters" one actually just makes it so you can't use those letters AFTER the sacrifice, it won't remove any letters

Wrong, you can still write those letters but the sacrifice rule will become red, so you have to delete every letter that you chose or you won't be able to progress

For rule 14 I just found a list all countries then removed the them (roughly half at a time) to narrow it down. It’s easy cause you don’t even have to think about it

Im pretty sure its checkmate in 1 not 2 because once the knight moves to e5 the queen puts the king in check and theres no defenders and the knight covers the only possible escape, the d7 square

tip for the hex codes! if you have clip studio paint, you can color pick from the color directly, without screenshotting and putting the pic into the program
alternatively for rule 14 you can just use google lens; if on windows use snipping tool to snip the topmost portion of the image, with no google lens ui elements visible-works perfectly for me

The way I do the geoguessr is to copy+paste a list of every country in the world and start deleting them until I find it.

You can usually take the screenshot of geoguesser and do a image search on it it likely tell you where the location is.
