Celebrating Toronto Public Service Week 2023 with Community Paramedic Sam

Hi everyone my name is Sam I'm an Advanced Care Community Paramedic with Toronto Paramedic Services. I have been in this role for about 10 years now.
As a Community Paramedic our job is to help support our most vulnerable clients in the City by engaging with them and determining what gaps there are in their care. This helps to allow us to treat our patients and clients with the most appropriate care in the most appropriate place. It also helps us to reduce the 911 call volume to ease the burden on our Operations Paramedics and the Hospital Emergency Departments.
I want to thank everybody for their support over the years especially during the recent Covid-19 pandemic. I want to say thank you again and Happy Toronto Public Service Week.
