  • RANTHAMBHORE NATIONAL PARK - the best tiger safari in India!
Ranthambhore National Park is arguably the best place in India for a tiger safari. This video contains the best footage taken on an At Close Quarters photographic safari to India's Ranthambhore National Park in December 2019. I took three clients to Ranthambhore for six days and our main aim was to photograph wild tigers. We were lucky enough to see and photograph NINE different tigers and we saw leopard, sloth bear and a host of other amazing animals and birds as well...

Ranthambore N.P. is indeed special. Alarm calls helped guide us into our sightings.

Beautiful video that captures the atmosphere of this Park. As someone who has been to India 3 times already for Tigers I thought the Sloth bear sighting was the highlight : ). Have you thought about an extension to Bandhavgarh? 2018 we had(in Bandhavgarh) 7 nights, 22 sightings and a total of 30 tigers(so some sightings with multiple tigers) made up of 17 individuals and in 2019 7 nights, 14 sightings with a total of 22 tigers(multiple tigers at some sightings) made up of 18 individuals. Back next month and looks to be a huge year! We've stayed at 3 different lodges enjoyed them all but finally found one where the needs of wildlife photographers are prioritised by the owner and guides. We'll be staying in HWE in August so if you are around and like to have a chat about Bandhavgarh, feel free to reach out. P.s we are not are safari business, just a couple who travel for wildlife.

Brian Love, I’d love to hear more about your visits to Bandhavgarh! Please make contact when you’re in Hoedspruit and we’ll grab a coffee or three... :)

Lovely park! I went to Miami zoo for 7 days. Took 2500 images at 90 dollars for a one year pass. The images of the tigers I have are much more interesting, but your scenery is something I certainly would love to see. Congratulations.

I spent a few years in India and I only went to one National Park, because my sister visited wanted to see tigers. We rode an elephant, encountered a rhino' with a calf, saw and heard peacocks in the jungle. I have spoken to a lot of people in India who'd been to National Parks to see tigers and I never heard of anyone who'd actually seen one. Fantastic video, but awful music. Maybe something by the Ustad - Khan family. Or something Indian classical.
