- UK sea fishing on the English Channel fishing deep wrecks. We are out Fishing in my small boat using lures to catch pollock. This is better than using a SIB for fishing, I have found myself in love with this boat and its capabilities. This sort of fishing trip can be dangerous in such a small boat so taking the right safety equipment is crucial. The lures we used included sidewinder skerries eels and sidewinder Slow Pitch Jigs. Packed with tips, Beginners advice for setting up a drift I hope you find value in the video.
tackle used for the booms is all from Limitless Sea Fishing LTD - limitless-seaf...

Cracking day. If I ever find myself with spare cash I'll definitely invest in a polycraft, they look great.
They are cracking little boats and take me all over!
This right here is why I bought this boat. Excellent day out. Glorious conditions. 😎
They are awesome arnt they! Rarely get glass like that!
Good Pollock, worth having Navionic app on phone incase the main plotter throws a hissy fit again.
Luckily I have navionics and Garmin app on my phone that work without 4G. But to use them for wrecking just doesn’t work. Thanks for comment!
Hi there! Like always a very nice and knowledgeable video!!! Thanks!!
Thank you for watching and making a kind comment! It means the world ❤️
Pouting are good eating as well 😋 I'll be out in my sib this summer on the north wales coast after black bream
A little bony for my liking it seems. The black bream are such great fun on light gear!
Another brilliant video! Only gone and ordered myself some rhubarb and custard sidewinders 😳😂
One of my favourite colours for pollock and cod! You won’t be disappointed, good luck 😉
@@MuscleFishingOfficial thanks mate, just waiting for some decent weekend weather and then I’m getting my sib out 😊
@@Samir02392 good luck! Weather doesn’t like us folk atm!
Hi mate, do u need any license for using a small boat with a 20hp motor in uk at sea for fishing? Thank u, great video
You don’t need any licence in the uk for recreational boating bud for private use. Thanks for watching the vid and hope it helps
great vid as usual! is it safe standing up in the poly? guessing with low sides it could be a problem?
You have to pick your moments. But when it’s calm and if your stability is good it’s been ok for me. But yes but if extra care is needed. Tbh with 2 of you both wearing drysuits and lifejackets even if you accidentally went in you’d be back on the boat within a minute or two. But that absolutely isn’t the aim 😅😂
You need a chest or hat cam mate, so we can see the action better 👍🏻
I actually have one but with a Lifejacket doesn’t sit great. I will mount a second camera though for me next vid! ❤️
Would you mind letting me know the garmin you use now? How’s it been on the tuffy? I want to get the relief shading but not sure which one to go for. Cheers
I have a ECOmaps UHD 2 95SV - it’s been fantastic! The imagine quality is great on the sonar. Simple to use, follow and customise. The card you need is the Garmin Navionics vision plus. Download active captain on your phone and then you can transfer the relief shading map content over. Do this is smaller sections though, not the whole of UK at one time 😊
