Souls of Fire is one of my favorite songs ever. I have it as my alarm music. Although this version gets away from the original mood, I think it's still pretty great. 👍
Weirdly, this is the most accurate cover of this song that I've ever seen on youtube. Everyone always treats the song like it's in 9/16, when really it's in 6/8 with a 9/16 polymeter ostinato running on the harp. Nice work, well done. Very impressed, and the sounds you came out with are crazy lush and gorgeous!
I just wanted to say thanks for sharing your music. I've purchased a couple of your albums and they're superb. You've redone some of my favorite pieces. Keep up the good work! You've got serious talent.
Hey thanks. I used one of those RGB LED bulbs that come with a little remote for color switching. And a candle flame to light up the right part of the synth.
This is fantastic! Also, I'm new to synths and modular stuffs and all but I think I'm going to get a Mother-32. However, I don't have an audio interface of any sort and would like to just midi out from FL Studio to the Mother. I know you also use FL so I was wondering what you used for that midi connection. Is it just one of those usb to midi cables? If so, what brand? Thank you greatly!
Really ..really good .. I have a Mother 32 ,but I don't have any money to have another Moog mother 32 .. but I have a Korg MS-20 (1977) and a SQ-1 , can you give me some advice ? , William (France)
I just watched your MS20 video. It sounds so cool! If you want to use them together maybe this video is helpful: th-cam.com/video/rTjprq7CFFo/w-d-xo.html
@@RemixSample Thank you very much .. for your super fast response ;) , I obviously watched this video (you doubt it? ) , I subscribed, not for nothing .. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I don’t own a pro hardware like you, I am a self-taught (I am 62 years old), I also have a Korg Minilogue and also the software REASON 10
Did you use any external effects for this one? And do you think the Mother 64 combo is a big upgrade compared to the Mother 32? I do think this track is great, as usual.
Hi, I have not played around with the patch bay all that much so for me it's more of a time saver. Instead of recording something twice I can do it in one go. The effects I used were Valhalla Shimmer and SoundToys Crystallizer.
YASS!! Mah favorite. :) I performed this one for my final #jamuary2018 It's called "Souls of Fire" and I have spent many an hour creating characters to it. Thanks! :)
hey could you please explain, how you managed to send notes via midi to your mother32? because when I try to send notes via my daw, the M32 sees incoming note values only as a "root" note for the internal sequencer melody. Would be great if you could help!
@@RemixSample I’m about to order a set. I am new to this but I love this sound like I cant explain it’s therapeutic. And I’m recovering from a drug addiction I think muisc will save my life so I’m ordering 2 of these thru Amazon rigth now! Do they connect to my monitor with one xlr cable?
I'm gonna go with the Minilogue because it's a poly synth, has patch memory, the different modes are very cool and it has a built in delay. With that said, a lot of the music I like to create doesn't really need polyphony and I use my computer for VST effects. Unless you got other Eurorack gear the Minilogue is going to be more versatile for sure.

Yes nothing beats the original that's for sure.
More dark souls! Seriously good choice

Thanks that's cool to hear! I appreciate that!
Your theory input is appreciated! Now I know!
Gonna need a 70-hour version of this thx
Touching...
You should do Eternal Blue title track ambient version :) Keep rockin it.
Awesome! Love
your interpretation of that theme ❤
Thank you! 🙏
Thanks for the great remixes. (with thanks from the author.)

That sound... holy fuck it’s beautiful...
Thanks! It's a great song, it was fun to create this cover!
Love it!
i cant even begin to exclaim how much i love this
Beautiful
This is one of my favorite songs on your channel, really makes me want to get a mother 32.
ultrabyootiful moog master
Can you make a variation of ‘Everything is going to be ok’, a part of the PREY soundtrack.
Just checked it out. That is a great song. It's already a very synth heavy track so I don't know what else I could do to it. I'll look into it tho.
Mind Blowing

@@RemixSample @aureltopiano The true answer: uses Bonfire.
Absolute bliss!!! 🙏🏻
This is so good
I love this.
I wish I could like it more than once.
Fucking hell this is incredible
Amazing
Incredible
Cool lighting (:
Well done.
Big sound for such a small setup!
Valhalla Shimmer reverb and Soundtoys Crystallizer does most of the heavy lifting. :)
Yea, Valhalla's Shimmer and reverb's sound was the main reason of getting Tiptop's Z-DSP. I wouldn't mind having two of those.
Yup I got the Z-DSP for the same reason too. :D

Lovely
Love your videos. Are you considering picking up a DFAM?
Hey thanks! Not sure if it is something I would use that much since I don't really use percussion that often but it would be fun to try out.
EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have to turn of a setting in your DAW that triggers the M32 sequencer. I have to turn off "Enable Midi Master Sync" in FL Studio.
@@RemixSample Thanks a lot :-) I'll try to figure it out...
So it is possible to make mother 128
Yeah I think so, here is a video of a 4-tier setup th-cam.com/video/8gwM2woDX5w/w-d-xo.html
Getting it on Nintendo switch
Is this 2 mothers 32. Combined?
Yes exactly.

since you have both, what are your thoughts on the better value, the mother 32 @ $600, or the minilogue @ $500?

Please more Dark Souls (And Halo!)
The tempo is too fast. Just almost calming. But good work, it was cool to listen anyway :)
Thank you!
