Yamaha FZR750R OW01 ... crown jewel from Iwata. Rare and expensive. Made for racing.

Yamaha answered Honda's (RC30) challenge with a low-volume homologation special of its own, the FZR750R, commonly known as the OW01. Although it was a street-legal machine, the OW01 had a spec sheet that was all about racing.
The OW01 never won a world title, but it did prove competitive, winning 16 of 98 WSBK races entered, including victory in its very first race at the WSBK season opener in 1989.
