Other provinces also send their mentally ill and drug users via bus to Vancouver due to the more moderate climate in the winter not freeze outside. You have to buy long term disability and injury insurance yourself. The person who did the hitting often do not have assets so even if you sue them, it would end up costing you money in lawyer fees. Vancouver police is generally good with follow ups for instances including cybercrime while other police department are not as well organized. Be aware of your surroundings and this means not listening to music or doing things that reduce your awareness of surroundings. Same as sharing the road with cars as BC has a no fault system.
