  • On this episode, I fabricate a stern rail for my Macgregor 26D. I purchased used bow rail on Craigslist-- 40ft for $25usd. Once home, I cut it into manageable 10ft sections, took the connection pieces off, and started bending. After that, I show a bit of the electrical work I've done by moving my battery out of the lazarette and up under the starboard seat. To do that, I fabricated a small tray and attached it to the seat. Last, I purchased 2 sheets of 3" thick stiff foam for our bedding, since the cushions were gone. This stuff is from foamfactory.com and ran about $120 each.
