So glad you got your “dream bag”! I have this bag, and while I really haven’t used it, I do treat all of my Louis Vuitton bags with vachetta leather with the Apple Guard spray...it definitely is a game changer in using and loving bags with vachetta!!!

Used is the new new. Love that. I have the empriente leather in neige (white). Just got it from the real real. It is in excellent condition too. My first time to buy preloved but it was a great experience.

Love your review and I’m happy you find it classy and also that you love the classic design without that new lining. I own one and I always thought the artsy was the most beautiful, but I was wondering if it’s too old of a design. I’m glad I’m not the only one who loves it and won’t let it go

My all time favorite Louis Vuitton! I'm debating whether to get a pre-loved one or a new remodeled one. Like you I love the bag without the vachetta trim on the opening. But I'm afraid of the canvas cracking if I get the old version. Anywho, I've used the apple guard spray on my speedy 30 bandouliere monogram bag. I sprayed two coats, and my bag is just fine. Once the spray dries, the vachetta goes back to it's original color. I let it dry for about 30 minutes. That spray is truly amazing, and I plan to use it on all of my Louis Vuitton bags.
Ahhhh yes! I totally feel you girl! I knew that when I saw the new Artsy in person - the look, feel and everything was not "it" for me. I love the look and structure of the older version.
If you go w the older version, just be careful about it and look closely at the date code. Get a newer one vs. older of course. 😉

@@chantalxox You're welcome! I loved you video. with the artsy, I do recall the cracking issue with the original bag was from 2014 to 2015. So I will be sure to look for bag with date codes after 2015. That could actually be a good thing to buy it pre-loved because I would save a few hundred dollars. In terms of the apple guard spray, yes it makes the bag waterproof. However you do have to treat it every 2 to 3 months, depending on how often you use your bag. I have actually gotten caught in the rain with my speedy bandouliere monogram, and I did not get any water stains on my bag.

@@Babydoll_bre not exactly! I use mine for work but try not to over stuff it because then it adds even more weight to it. Can be an every day bag without being over stuffed. I used it all day for a shopping trip and it got really really heavy on my shoulder from the braided strap. It’s a beautiful bag though and I will never get rid of it. I honestly think it’s a must have in your collection 🥰

I used to make this bag for LV. Apple garde technique is a must but watch my video before using it. It’s perfectly safe or you’ll ruin the bag if you don’t do it right
