When Caff accidentally predicts actual NPCs from actual future zones, you know they’re committed to the game.
The thing with Nero is that he doesn't so much hate Cid as he wants to be recognized by him. He doesn't want Cid to go away, he wants him there seeing him being better.
And the thing with Gaius is that he is a genuine believer in good government leadership and meritocracy. He just can't see that the people he works for aren't as dedicated to THAT cause as he is. That's not to say he doesn't have other flaws, but his vision for actually taking care of the land and the people is at least legit.

@@CaffeinatedDad Everytime I do preatorium with random people I have a bag of old joke i recycle for them. One of them is that Cid and Nero should kiss. Nero has that "Notice me senpai" energy and they are the textbook definition of "its complicated" relationship status.

@@CaffeinatedDad The only reason I dislike it is the final boss, I've been playing since before the dungeon was released and I can never remember the order of the match-2 memory game.
Cid and Nero is "senpai notice me energy" with tsundere mixed in
also, to save you time:
I don't remember how to do it, but somewhere in the settings you can make it so any cutscenes that you have already seen before at the start/end of dungeons/trials (sans MSQ roulette) are auto-skipped

RE: Spoilers. The XIV community is pretty good about not revealing in-context spoilers, but they also have a habit of holding all spoilers too preciously especially when we take into account the average streamer's chimp-esque memory for "man/thing in a room" sights.

This reminded me to start doing laundry during my DPS queues
I don't know how to play astro cards, I usually don't touch them.
When I do occassionally touch them, I do blue card = tank, green card = healer, red card = dps which is probably the wrong thing to do.
It is the wrong thing to do now, sadly.
balance - melee dps
spear- ranged DPS
all other cards for tank is how I do it
Astro maybe my healer playthrough. I'm unsure of how it goes but it looks fun!
I think it goes like this:
We throw SPEARS at RANGED (❄)
We bring BALANCE to MELEE (☀️)
We, uh, ARROW our HEALING (or WAR for self-healing 🎯)
We use TESLA COILS (⚡) to SHIELD
We hide behind TREES for DEFENSE (🎄)
We REGEN with WATER (🏺)
For the first set it's red=melee/tank damage buff (in that order), yellow is shield, and blue is healing buff on target. On the second set it's Dark Blue=magic/ranged/healer damage buff. Green= mit and lighter blue pot= regen
I have run WoD probably hundreds of times and never noticed it was titty lasers. Damnit it's there forever now.
It was my second go through and I only just caught onto it as it was brought up to me!!!
My 'can I can't not see it' is right before the Iron Giant fight in Prae, it shows the boss from behind and you can behold the Iron Thong.

It took me a minute to understand witchies characters but it sounds like your character would fit perfectly in with hers!

My housing plot that's TMNT is 20th Ward, Plot 30 in the Goblet in Marilith. It's about 80-ish percent done? I'm trying to make one room the farmhouse, and haven't tracked down exactly what I want yet.

As far as Echo goes, I think they’re smart to branch into other MMOs for World Firsts. Make themselves a brand across the whole genre.
I don’t typically follow World Firsts too closely but I did watch the last WoW race and it was fun.
They will know what the rules are as they’ve done ultimates before, and of course being Echo, they’ll find some very very high end XIV players for their team.
Not really a big Fan of Echo paticipating into the World first cause A its Neverland whos gonna raid for Echo which are well known as Notorious Cheater and B we already have a dedicated World first Host since Years. Its feels more like Echo is doing their own thing without really willing to join the Rest of the Community. I really enjoyed their Savage and Ultimate Prog but once they announced that Neverland will raid for them they lost all my Respect.
I think for the very least it could be entertaining. And paired with that the cross attention being shown on ffxiv is huge too
@@DantoriusD Am not too familiar with Neverland or typically follow the XIV World Firsts, so cannot speak to that. I am aware there were cheating allegations. Are they the ones using the mods facilitating mechanics and the extreme zoom out?
@@lsschwartz no that was unnamed who got the TOP world first. Neverland was world 2nd. They cleared DSR World first with third Party Tools and Callouts. Also since they were way ahead of actual streaming Teams they posted the crucial Phase Transition in DSR on Twitter back then which was super spoilery for everyone. Also iirc they took the p12s World first. Overall by far really good Player but since they streamed absolute 0, had a big Time Advancement in DSR with clear 3rd Party Tools there.....sus.
please set your camera higher :"D ctrl+arrow keys up or down, or from settings xD it feels too close to floor imo, though I am used to having it set at "62"

I have to second this suggestion. It took me until a particular boss in the last dungeon of ShB to do it, but once I did everything became MUCH easier.

I didn't find my boy Bakool sexy or hot, but I found him still more engaging and interesting than Wut Lmao. And that's after the fact they turned him into a two-dimensional Saturday Morning Cartoon villain and abridged his sympathy story. 😂
i strongly dislike bakool ja ja and no amount of character growth will change my opinion of him. he's got about the same likeability as fandaniel or whatever yotsuyu's brothers name was. Zenos was more likeable than bakool ja ja even at the first meeting.
I don't know about Zenos being more likable; but considering what Bakool Ja Ja did in the story I'm shocked he was even allowed to be doing things, much less forgiven
