i dont know why ive heard so much dislike for the overall sound of this record. this to me is exactly how this style should sound, thick and not clean. nothing will ever be Molesting The Decaptitated, but for me personally this record is basically right with it. nice to hear drums that dont have the EXACT same overproduced, way-too-loud snare drum sound and beat-mapped blast beats, like most of the slam worldwide bands.
Agreed 100%. The guitars are super crazy. It did take me some time to get used to this one, but it has become a record that I can listen to without skipping any tracks. And I'm totally with you with Mortician. Just recently went through a phase with them and I put on Domain of Death and I'm like....fuckin hell. Brutal.

I saw live footage and the guitarist was using a 7-string and would go between standard B and then tune way down to low E. Either way, it was BRUTALLY HEAVY!!

What I like most about this is that this sounds like what you get when you see them live. It's so fucking intense and almost overwhelming. They are brilliant song writers also. The expectations as a listener are very predictable and helping. Kinda keeps your attention going as they blast through such intense movements.

this album is very interesting to me. i think its a legit contender for the heaviest album ever recorded. The huge muddy walls of solid state guitar suffocate you so hard it borderlines on noise, but you can still feel the riffs.
This album is fucking incredible. I couldn't care less about the slam police or any of that bullshit and I like very few or the bands posted on SWW. However, if this is legit slam (which I am assuming it is), I can see why people are so eager to emulate and try to secure the label of a "slam" band. This shit is so god damn heavy that I am a little taken back and, trust, I listen to some heavy shit. Can't stop listening to this. Esp in good headphones. A+++

I'd say 2 out the several you named really incorporate the style of "slam", those being Abominable Putridity and Cephalotripsy but definitely not Disavowed, those guys are excellent riffers with more to them than just slamming breakdowns
