I was originally going to go to the Kent & East Sussex Railway’s “50th Anniversary Gala”. But due to delay trains! I missed my connection to get to Robert-bridge! So, I went to the Epping Ongar Railway instead.
Loco’s in service were:
GWR 4900 Class, 4953 “Pitch-ford Hall” & a
BR Class 20, 20227 “Sherlock Holmes”.
During my trip to the Railway. I was surprised to see Hunslet 0-6-0ST, No.3782 "Arthur" at the Railway! Not sure why it was there? Maybe it was getting itself run in or final test run before starting it’s New Job at Day Out with Thomas Events! I was a good day and it was nice to ride on the Railway again. I was still a bit disappointed about the missing my connection but the sun was out so I couldn’t let it ruin my day!
