Southern wedding is different from northern wedding in India/ BHARATHA. First it is the bride and groom meet ceremony then the engagement ceremony and then reception ceremony, then it the wedding north it's 7 perra , in south it's Mangal Sutra then 7 perra then kanyadana (girl adopted to husband family), then ending reception for official guests like office friends, ceo, manager, etc and neighbours.
In India we invite atleast 1000 people in wedding of villages.... in cities atleast 400-500...... the number increases with the wealth In villages, first we have to invite whole village, then our relatives and their most closed relatives, then friends with their family, then other people who are important
@@вариантыглаза maybe in your state horse in not common but where I live horse is not rare . Horse in not common in wedding here but I often saw horse in my locality
Is that how north indians celebrate? In South we don't have Mahendi , we have haldi and several other rituals before wedding and wedding is very different from North bride wears a saree and groom wears Pancha/Dhothi and the ceremony goes for several hours, multiple Costume changes, Pooja's like Gowri pooja, Jilakarra bellam, thali tying( turmeric thread) around her neck, walking around fire for seven steps, lastly appaginthalu, and Some games too like a ring is placed in a bowl of water and see who's get it first etc, after. Wedding There's "Satyanarayana Swamy Vratham" in groom's family house as the wedding usually takes place in Brides village/house, then If they're wealthy they can a reception, but ppl are so influenced by Bollywood they're leaving all these customs of South India and embracing North India like Sangeet and Mahendi where ppl mostly get's drunk and dance one of the stupidest things.
What are you talking about, all the rituals you mentioned above have also been done in North India..... I don't know why south Indians always think that we north Indians are from another world😏..... It's almost same bro everywhere...... and if you talk about drinking alcohol and all then only few high class people have drinking function in their home..... mostly in North India there is no alcohol culture into families, and one more thing most wedding here even don't have non-vegetarian food, so having alcohol is very far thing for us..... The gauri pooja and Satyanarayan pooja are I think hindi words, then how do you think that it only happens in south.. you guys are just sus...... Wherever you go, you start north-south comparison😏...... try to find similarities sometimes
Oh I am maharashtrian bht never heard of such beautiful things happened at south weddinng We also have similar rituals Good to know it Thanks for sharing
Bro Infact in north India itself we have a lot of cultures. So they all are a little different from each other. Honestly India is just is too diverse to generalize
