    Jobe have been getting many of you happily on the water over the past decade, but this is the first time we've got our hands on one of these boards to put into a SUPboarder review. The board we have been using is probably the most popular board in the Jobe range... the Jobe Jarra 10'6" x 32". It's perfect for entry into the SUP world.

    Red 12'6 of 2022 is less(!) stiffer than red of 2021, but it's faster(!) A stiffness itself is not an only key to success.

      100% - many elements contribute to performance. Stiffness is a very good indication for us of the way the board is constructed and the quality of its materials :) Thanks, Will

    Nice. Would be interesting to see how the cheaper Jobe boards compare. Apparently they use the same material but no lower stinger.

      Great suggestion. We'd expect a slight performance drop and a more bendy iSUP. Thanks, Beau

    Hello, very nice review indeed, i am going to buy one of Jobes, but there is a mistake in specs - you wrote paddlers up to 120 kg and on the official page there is 140. So Iam wondering when yo suggested sweet spot for the riders weight 70 -105 - did you refer to 120 value or it was just a typo ?

      Hey. Thanks for your comment. Yeah this is all correct, we would recommend most paddlers up to 120kg use this board.
      Jobe do say that the board will take up to 140kg which it could, but riders over 120kg we feel should use a wider board to give them more stability.
      The sweet spot weight ref to what we feel would be the best weight for the board to be used for a complete beginner and they will find it the easiest to use.
      Does this make sense? Thanks Reuben

    Which is better jobe yarra 10.6 vs. gladiator origin 10.8?

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  ปีที่แล้ว

      The Gladiator Origin is 34" wide which provide better stability if you are a heavier rider over 95kg. The Yarra will be easier to manoeuvre and better all round if you're a light weight rider. Hope this helps. Thanks, Beau

      If you're just starting out and are taller than average, go for the Gladiator Origin as you'll have the most balance and fun. Thanks
