World Ballet Day 2022 - The Royal Danish Ballet

We are proud to be a part of World Ballet Day, where the world’s top ballet companies come together to celebrate dance.
This year, you get a special look behind the scenes as we follow soloist with the Royal Danish Ballet, Tobias Praetorius. He's taking you along to a day of balletpractice and rehearsals for A Midsummer Night's Dream by John Neumeier, that's premiering on the 5th of November on The Royal Danish Theatre's Old Stage.

Tobias was the perfect host: he has a natural charm and guided us well through his day. How lucky the company is to have such a fresh and daylight-filled building for the ballet studios and dancers' changing rooms, while still keeping the historic theatre for performances. Thank you RDB☀️🩰✨❤️🌹

Great work RDB. I completely forgot that the Royal Danish Opera house look’s exactly like the Royal Swedish Opera house, except for some pillars in front and a balcony. We call our opera house the Cigar box. But we in Sweden are very jealous of your new opera house.

Loved to see so many memorabilia on the walls throughout the theatre. Great always to feel the heritage this way. Pity you didn't show full class or rehearsal like many companies did
