If Walt Disney made Aladdin back in the 30’s/40’s, “A Friend Like Me” would sound like this.
Considering the song was originally written to be a Cab Calloway-style number, this is a *perfect* era to choose for a cover.
I’m really surprised that you’re a Norwegian Dixieland Jazz band....you guys are great
Rest In Peace, Robin Williams the Stand-Up Comedian/The Voice Actor of Genie from Disney Aladdin the Movie. You Will Be Missed, And We'll See You In The Great Stand-Up Comedy Stage in the Sky, Dude. I Promise, You're Sacrifice will not be in Vain. U_U
Hurrah ..... Just makes you want to smile .....
Thank you so much! Very nice to hear!
Idk about you. I'm crying
That clarinet solo made me... Feel things
IT MADE ALL OF US FEEL THINGS
It still makes us feel things!
his voice is like SILK 0.0 amazing work guys
I'm jazzing so hard right now!
We are still jazzing to this very day!
@@swingit3191 Just heard your version of Flowers, great stuff! Real bluesy and dirty. Be nice to hear a mashup with When I was Your man by Bruno Mars as a call and response. But if you're still after modern cover ideas I think Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo is a banger.
Your group is wonderful and refreshing, keep up the quality entertainment! Bravo!
cool!
This is super dope besides the suspect choice of camera angle during vocals.
droidean haha, thank you, blame the video man;)
I don't know but i like this more than the live action movie hip hop version
I don't know but this style is closer to the original song.
10 times per day... f***ing addicted! Naw Naw! xD
I really love you guys!
Doms Revenge haha, thank you ❤️
Wow.
I didn't think I'd actually find something like this. This is amazing!
Imperial Officer thank you so much!!
@@swingit3191 Omg. I'm still watching :D

Aw man. Really wanted some of that Charlie Brown Trombone for this one. Just sounds so fitting.
See us live and we'll give you a lot of that Charlie Brown trombone;)
I LOVE IIIIIIT
Song might be 20’s style, but that camera angle is pure 2000’s
Haha, so true
LOVE IT!!!
Loveeee
This is so brilliant!
Dammm! nice arrangement , great vibe!
Amazing! I wish you the best
Thank you! We are doing well, hope you are good too!

At least we made it to the semifinal!

The lead singer's voice reminds me of meguell from road to El Dorado
What a compliment!
where i can find the first set of lyrics?
Brandon Martinez it is just the original lyrics from the movie :)
omg,,, ♡♡♡
what's the song at the end?
G Y it’s called Dub-de-dub-de-dat-duey - you can find it on our Spotify account!
Ya' like jazz?
yes
yes
No doubt
oh Boi
The music is wonderful, but the singer is hard to listen to - what's with the accent?! This song would sound fresh and wonderful if you were to just use your British accent!
He is English (from Devon), so sorry you can't understand his accent!
@@swingit3191 No. The problem is that he was trying to speak in a fake Southern accent. I realize that Robin Williams who sang the original song used that southern accent. It would have been a breath of fresh air if that song was done with a British accent.
In any case, thank you for being one of the few contemporary bands who create beautiful music.
