Yo Rhodes brother. You don't know how far I have looked to just listen to some sweet rhodes while working at night. I wish you would make some extended sessions
This sound like ''Suicide is painless''(Mash) meets Angela ( Taxi). And some Riders of the storm inbetween. Nice, anyway...aaa ok and Bad in the last part.
A Wurli barks or honks a little more than a Rhodes but then a Wurli can't chime like a bell in the way a Rhodes can. A Wurli uses reeds to generate tones whereas a Rhodes uses tines. Dig in hard at the keys and they do cover very similar ground. The answer is of course, get one of each 😅
I asked the same question about the amp on his Cm9 video. The audio there was recorded directly into a fender passport venue pa. I doubt that was the case here, as you can hear the sounds of him moving around at the start of the video. The rhodes was most likely from around 1975. Earlier models would have a „Fender“ on the logo in the center, yet I can‘t tell from when exactly.

Great playing and tone brother.
Thanks!
Reminds me of Albert King's - I Wanna Get Funky
Very similar to a Wurlitzer no? I played guitar along with you sort of using your jam as a backing track. Great playing brother!

Hey Keith,
Beautiful playing. Is there a way I can contact you about using this piece in a film?
Hi Josh, I just added my email to my About me page. You should be able to contact me through there. Thanks!
Tasteful.
did you record this from inside David Lynch's mind?
If Ray Manzarek made the soundtrack for Twin Peaks
Hey man, Is there a way to contact you? I'd like to sample this for a hip hop instrumental
Madre de Dios....

Sweet grooves, man. Nicely done on that beautiful instrument. How did you tune yours to get it sounding so amazing?
Thanks! I spent a lot of time adjusting the sound to my liking. It was a pain, but well worth it.
Mind if I ask what type of hammer tips?
Sure, they are the neoprene graduated tips from Vintage Vibe.

This is a 1978 Rhodes that I recorded on a Zoom Q2HD handheld recorder.
@@keithfoley3228 awesome, thank you :)

What song does he play at 3:52?
No song that I know of, just sped up the progression and added a bass riff.

How do I set this sound on my keyboard what is it called?
It's a fender rhoads sound. If you have a intermediate keyboard look for electric piano in the bank.
nexus has a rhodes plug in
Yes you can get it, but originally this sound is not synthesised
logic pro has full simulation of various types of classic electric pianos and various synths, stock
hey bro can i sample this to make an beat of hiphop ?
Sure, as long as you let me hear it when you're done.
bro can you give your fb please ???
Sorry, I'm not on fb.
Very nice audio. You must have a face for radio.
Still gets more bitches than you and me combined lol
