    That final "They say of the Acropolis where the Parthenon is..." segment is my #1 All-Time favourite QI segment. It's just so ludicrous and good-natured and it truly broke Stephen like no other segment. I love it!

      @@tyfaknee No... they convert nectar to Honey and eat the Honey, they can eat Nectar as well as anything else that contains sugars but they do so whilst on the move, but their main meal is Honey or a converted Jelly. They also store honey for when they get out of hibernation, the excess from this reserve is the Honey that bee keepers take.
      One mistake in the Bee debate is a struggling bee may be dehydrated... so to cover both grounds in helping out a struggling Bee is to give it sugar water :)

      I still don't quite get how they did it. Within the same shot that his "head" comes off, at the very beginning of it it still looks very real, like his head's moving just a tad as it would naturally be.

    Watching this three months after posting from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and I am struck by the level of international cooperation it took to create Asimo.
    The Americans and British (primarily) developed the technology, the Japanese and Koreans collected and interwove it, the Chinese and several African countries provided the rare minerals required for the circuitry and power supply, and a Canadian taught Asimo how to dance.

      There are currently no known ambient temperature superconductors, they all require cryogenic temperatures to function, for now at least.

      Dunno about Dara, he mostly needs someone to play off, "joke-surfing" as Sarah Pascoe called it. Sean Lock or Johnny Vegas would much better fit the bill, for me. I love the devestating silences that follow most of Johnny Vegas's outbursts as hundreds of minds try and work out what just happened.

You would do well to check out the This Morning With Richard Not Judy section where Stewart Lee breaks down the lazy tricks comedians use instead of strong material. O'Briain's "Eeeeh" is brutalised, the technique, that is, since O'Briain was unheard of back then.

    I must say I love sandi and the show now. But I noticed alot of the guest that Stephen had who were regulars are none existent in the show now and not only that but the sheer chaos here and fun is lacking of the new version. Like Stephen was the cool free spirited teacher. I trully miss him. I fell in love with Qi because of him at the age of 14/15 7years ago. From Tunisia with love to all 🇹🇳💖

      The balls in the thigh area make it quite difficult for that to be the case... I mean no matter how small that child is from the waist down it just stops working as a regular old suit... you'd be better off stuffing a monkey in it or just making it a big old puppet...

    I ended up getting some long winter socks from my mom, they literally go up to my knees, longer than Rob's. And let me tell you...he's right. They feel great. Kinda just makes you feel ready for anything lol

    The giant tortoise segment was the funniest but the competition was bloody good apart from the last segment on the Acropolis which I've always thought was a joke that went on too long.

    In the US, socks like that are referred to as "over the calf".
