I've played ivern supp a couple of times, but I'm thinking of experimenting with smite on him supp. The plan would be ward enemy jg topside. If they don't show up for red you ivern passive in the order of red, krugs, into raptors, smiting raptors. You should walk to krugs go behind them and q to red for max efficiency. On blue side, do blue gromp into wolf, smiting them. This will get you well into level 2 and close to 3 if I remember the exp with no jg pet, and when you back you have enough gold to buy boots and maybe a potion and then you head bot. Don't know if I would try it in ranked but for draft, it might be fun and you will give your jg a huge lead.

The only problem would be telling your bot laner to play safe for like a minute bc we all know they gonna act like they are a one man army.

Also I feel like with the baron changes this strat actually gets better throughout the game. In fact you could get so much value for yourself and your team because let's say you go roam top in coordination with your jg. Now while you are there after the roam you can quickly push into the enemy jg, use your passive, and then immediately smite the buff ( or camp) and get out. Late game if you can steal one of their buffs, not only does your entire team get the buff, but the enemy loses out on it.
