Is this a remake? I think this is a true story from 2010 but I remember this same plot from when I was young. 20 years ago probably. I remember the main character was my first "love." Puppy love. I was probably 7 or 8.

Doesn't this movie remind you of Spirit ? When he was captured but he was a Wild horse and she had an accident and almost gave up
Apparently the real Amberley did the stunts herself for the movie taking place post crash while her younger sister did the stunts in the pre crash scenes.
Even if the trailer shows the "whole" movie, you watch it so you can feel inspired. This is a true story on a young girl's life. She even stunted all the riding scenes for the actor playing her, along with her younger sister. You watch this movie so you can feel good about watching someone triumph after all the struggle. Its not like the movie was a surprise. You can read her whole life story online. I watched it and I'm so glad I did. But then again feel good stories and horse stories are a favorite of mine. Lol.
I got to meet Amberley at an event. She is such an amazing person, and I was truly blessed to have met her!

I loved the movie. Amberly Snyder is such of inspiration. She has courage, heart, strength, faith, determination. She is a example of overcoming obstacles. I would like to meet her one day.

It's a true story. I barrel race and have competed with her before and after accident. Shes truly an amazing person!
90% of Netflix films have the heartwarming factor. I'm for it.
I really do not wish that to anybody, but as it is shown in the movie, it's her own fault for the accident. Unfasten seatbelt and doing other things while driving is just dangerous and negligent. I don`t know if that`s what really happened, but that really bothered me. And then the statement "Does God want to see me as a cripple?". No, he doesn`t. You brought this on yourself.
I really respect her for fighting her way back though.
Everyone makes mistakes...she is well aware of her mistake that fateful day...most accident happens cuz a mistake is done somewhere in the action chain...
@@danielmalmros8532 yes, that's true. And again, i don't wish this to anybody. But what botheres me is the fact that it is not mentioned once in the movie. "i should have been more careful" or something like that. The whole movie treats her like a victim and for me this the wrong message. They could have raised more awareness for how dangerous things like that can be. But theres no learning effect.
@@carina4794 it might not been said...but its kinda pointed out when they focused on that she took off the seatbelt to reach for the map....and she also hinted about it when she was at the saddle shop putting belt on the saddle.
The movie isnt really about the accident...its about her struggle to come back to rodeo..and to show ppl in same situation that its possible..she made a mistake that day...and she is very well aware of it...her doctor told her that if she wouldnt have taken off the seatbelt she would still be walking today.
And as she said (watching her sending live almost everyday) they had to cut out alot to get everything in 1 hour and 39 minuts...place of accident isnt same...and it was winter and snow that day.

I watched this movie and the crash was so unexpected I was like “ OH MY GOSH IS SHE OKAY?!?” And I have a horse btw so this movie was emotional to me ( I’m really happy that this didn’t happen to me but it’s amazing what this girl can do even know she can’t walk!! Amazing)

So it’s like the film ‘A Sunday Horse’?? The main person gets injured ((only difference in that film and this one is the accident, the Sunday Horse person has a nasty fall when jumping, and this one has a car accident)) and so does this one. And yet again, both trailers to these films show the whole film in under 3 mins🙄 They have this championship and end up winning, obviously😂

Or let wild horses remain free? Animals are not here for our use or exploit. As an ex-rider I can tell you it is not pleasant for 99% of animals in the rodeo industry. Bloodied mouths, cuts, sores, broken bones, infections, and just a whole lot of pain. The majority of the care that they received is only because of situations that we put them through.

Well she kind of did get to choose since she managed to roll a truck on a dead straight road with no other traffic in sight. She could have chosen to pull over before climbing about in her seat. Totally preventable accident. Still I suppose it's how you deal with your mistakes that counts.
@@cyflym11 most accident are preventable..so that was a lame comment...however she did make a mistake...she knows that herself..she hasnt sugarcoated that it was a big mistake to take of the seatbelt to reach for the map...road might be straight...however movie doesnt show that the accident actually happend in the winter with snow...
