The little table with the padded seat attached was known as a 'telephone table' usually in the entrace hall, as phone calls were very few back in the day. Alma and Ava (Arvay) are both religious terms used for prayers for protection. 'Paddy' is often used referring to Patrick or Irish. If Bridget was in bed upstairs or in the bed downstairs the smoke from the fire in the kitchen would have been enough to kill her. The 'alarm button' on the top landing by the stairs was a 'light button' you press this in and the button slowly releases out then clicks and the light goes off, these were used when electric lights were first installed to save electricity. Many houses or flats with several levels/floors had these installed and you had enough time to get to the next level push the next button before the previous light went out. The electrics looked like they would have been from the first installation and all the wiring would have been very dodgy. I remember when we changed from gas lamps in each room and had electricity unstalled in our old Georgian house in London when I was a child. Well done Adam you did so well with this, thank you 💕🇦🇺

Hi Liz! I'm Liz too from Michigan. I love your interesing comment. It was full of information about the way houses used to be! So funny when you said: "Phone calls were few." Lol. Not like nowadays. 🤣🤪🥴
Bridgett was def a very Catholic religious woman. The little cross hanging on the wall with the tiny pocket in front held holy water. Anytime you felt the need to cross yourself with Holy Water you dip your finger in it. ♥️ Love this home
Anybody raised Catholic would know that. My grandmother was Polish and I remeber spending time in my childhood before I moved to America at 14, she had those along with with the mandatory prayer beads and icons, statues and a lot of musical instrumemts in her big house and gardens outside of Warsaw.
Yes, he does call her " the old dear",and it can be used disrespectfully, however, it doesn't seem to be in this setting. It comes over more as term of endearment.

Hi my name is Bonnie and I am almost 80 years young from Salt Lake City Utah. US enjoy your videos so much Adam you bring life back into a home. You bring memories back into a world that's the world is forgotten., You just came across an item. I believe in a bedroom and he asked what people would put in it. Was hanging on the wall so I stopped a video to make your comment. I believe it is to hold grocery groceries or holy water most likely holy water❤❤❤ Your videos are so interesting now I'll go back to finishing it. Thank you love Valley. I wish I could join and buy something from you and support you but I will be 80 years young just coming November.😅❤❤
12:07, they would've usually put holy water in the little dip, and it's interesting because the name Alma means Nourishing; Kind; Soul. So what you were told was there's a nourishing kind soul from the outside so she could've been referencing that you were a very kind person from outside also the term Ava was used a lot in the Bible which I thought was interesting as well and ontop of that the name Caroline means free man so what I got out of that was when you asked her if it was okay if you were in the house she responded saying " Your a nice kind soul person from the outside you are free to do what you wish, I'm agitated because I was injured and I was really religious and now I'm here and very lonely."
@Pelleonore I found it interesting that the spirit was using Bible terms to express her feelings, Ava also means "voice" or life." I feel like the biggest mistakes we do trying to communicate with the spirits we don't sit there and just chat with them, we don't say hey how are you doing? It's so sad what happened in that house and it's very strange how much holy water was in the house. It makes you wonder if the family already had some kind of haunting going on before what the fire that took the lady's life.
Another great one dude. My nanna had one of those wall mounted holy water, mini fonts in her flat! Pretty sure she had several bottles from knock too. Made me smile when you said " I don't know who that is" with the art work and statues. They were all Jesus. As a baby with Mary (the terrible perspective ones), after he was taken down from the cross and laid in his mums lap, sat on Joseph's shoulders as a toddler. They really loved their iconography! I think Pat and Bridget were in visitation and the ones protecting you. The rest of the spirits were from earlier like you thought.
I'm loving the Work you do Adam me old mate. When you called the lady of the House "Darlin'" it warmed my heart. So sweet. 🤝👍 Please put your bloomin' gloves on though fella. That white mould can't be good for ya'. I mean mould's mould. 😂 When you said it could've been an Animal, but saying you doubt it cause it's on request. Absolutely amazing that that stuff is all left in there like that. That would not happen where I live. Anything that looked like it might be of any value would’ve been gone long time ago. Thanks for sharing that. And that house is, as you said, absolutely gorgeous. If I lived near there, I would buy it and that would be my home.
I just love all your vids. And exploring all the old beautiful Abandoned houses! Thank you Adam! And that holy statue on the wall, that you were wondering what it was for. That holds holy water in that statue!! Can't wait for more of your exploring abandoned homes. You guy's rock!!!

Great exploring Adam ur so respectful to those homes you vist , enjoy watching you exploring getting history behind the homes & people who lived there 🙏I was born in Ireland still have family there ,Thankyou
Excellent explore today, Adam. I loved all the Catholic statues, art, holy water font and bottles, books, etc. Very religious family. Those scratches on the wall were so strange! Great responses from the devices, too! Thank you! 👏
This was great. Poor Patrick and Bridget - not a nice way for either to go. No wonder their souls are still hanging around. This is my first watch of one of your videos - you have a new subscriber 😁
Great explore Adam. I like how calm you are and the respect you show to what has been left. Too bad nobody took over this lovely home after the fire. 👍👍👍
The tiny religious basin on the wall is for holy water. The bench with the "writing table" is for an old rotary style telephone and in the states is called a gossip bench. Love all your videos! Keep up the great work.
This will be very interesting to watch and who knows what surprises installed in this abandoned house. However Adam your exploring into abandoned property is worth to watch and you are well respected by not causing no damage to other people's property.
when you look back on comments the spirits replied to you... it did say Paddy was there and blood. you said at the start he died falling down the stairs. that could be the blood. so sad about the fire, which killed Bridget his wife, although she looked pretty elderly in those pictures to start off with. thanks Adam for a great Irish Explore
Hi Adam what a great house... love how you tell us the family history... knock water is a holy water from a pilgrimage to knock in County mayo.... beautiful place to visit and quite atmospheric.... thanks so much for your hard work giving us another amazing timepiece...❤

At 6:15, that is a vintage phone table. The phone sat on the table part. The bench was there because the phone was stationary. My Great Grandmother had a phone table very similar to that. Her seat part was more chair size. This is an amazing tour! I'm only about 10 minutes in and I'm so sad to see this beautiful home like this! 🫶🏼🔮💞 I clicked the video originally, due to the title. I'm a Medium who does paranormal investigations and readings. This is very interesting! I'm also fascinated by vintage items! The woodwork is fantastic!!! 💞💯🔮
I can never understand why the families that inherit these homes allow them to fall apart rather than donate them to a family who would give their right arm to have a house of their own...I would give anything to have a home of my own 😔...why can't people just do something nice for someone else rather than let a stunning home like that just rot, it's such a shame, its sad and very disappointing...😢
In Ireland, if you gift a house to a person, that person then has to pay stamp duty (essentially tax) to receive it. The amount of stamp duty depends on what the property is worth. Then you have to take in legal fees to make everything legal. So there's no such thing as a "free" house.
So many questions! Age of the home? When did she pass? Is there family still around? Do they know you explored? Still, many more questions! You're so respectful when you do this. It says a lot...
Hi Adam! You be careful when your wandering around those old houses ok? I used to go around an old house when I was in my early teens, almost fell through the floor in one room. So please be careful! I enjoy watching your video's, keep them coming! Take care and be safe!
My uncle, who was a builder, always said “never have ivy covered walls, it sticks to the walls and is difficult to remove and damages the brickwork” proof of which are these old houses you visit.
That voice coming through did sound angel like. I recently downloaded the spirit box because ive been getting knocks and things moving off the shelves. Ive picked up spirits that are in my home. Have you ever tried doing it in your home? What do you do to protect yourself? Maybe leave something on that in your videos? I love the explores!
The religious painting you thought was done by a child is an Icon, a very early form of specialized painting done by mixing egg with the paint and take a long time to do. There are only so many ways these paintings can be done as they have rules to follow. Often found in Greek orthodox churches original ones can be priceless.
Great videos! I love exploring abandoned buildings, villages etc to 'see' who lived, spent time there. You do a great job of voicing and doing what we do and are about. Half of Belgium/France is abandoned. Lots of areas to search. I always check the history AFTER I go. Creepy stuff happened in the past. Especially in WW2.
That gave me the Heebie-jeebies! 😮 The staircase looked creepy as! and the responses and knocking sounds were spot on! Another great explore thanks Adam❤
I'm sooooo excited about another explore.... i love the whole mystery of it and taking a look into what once was and wondering what happened... it also makes me giggle how mark says look at these little trinkets hehe well im counting down.... can't wait going exploring time 😁

Agree!
Adam you obviously are not Catholic. (Not that there is anything wrong with that.)
I’ve only seen water from Lourdes here in NY. Never heard of “Knock” before this.
''i don't know who that is?''.....pitiful.
@@williamdewarrenne5848 if you aren't raised in a religious home, why would he automatically know?
Adam going "holding a fella dyeing, no idea who that is", regarding Jesus, 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you crack me up, Adam. 🤣🤣🤣
A bit shocking how little he knows about Christianity, or art, or furniture from before 1990!
Awesome explore Adam!!! The little cup on the wall is for Holy water...so sad to see these old homes waste away...❤️😘
I got an image of a Cat downstairs going,"You callin' me stupid?" Haa!
“I am an angel 😇 I am protecting you”
I have never heard an EVP quite like that before.
Near the end just after the necrophonic says leave, you can hear a woman's voice whisper "The place is on fire."
The place is on fire ... very clear😮
I heard it too
S
Hi, what was the time stamp for that please? I’ve been trying to listen for it but can’t make it out? Great place. Must have been terrifying for the poor woman 😢
heard it to
I love each and everyone you put up Adam. Seems each time it gets better and the into are unreal! I can't wait to watch! Have a good one.
Adam, you are quite the storyteller when you’re doing your explores! Quite amusing and enjoyable entertainment!!😊
Brasil?🇧🇷🙈
"do you want me here?"
"Leave now"
Continues to stay 😂🤦🏻♀️❤️
I just love all your vids. And exploring all the old beautiful Abandoned houses! Thank you Adam! And that holy statue on the wall, that you were wondering what it was for. That holds holy water in that statue!! Can't wait for more of your exploring abandoned homes. You guy's rock!!!

It is snowing AGAIN in Michigan as I am kicked back in my recliner with pizza and a diet Pepsi waiting for my next explore with Adam. I don't get much better than this :) Happy watching fellow explorers! 😁
Snow??😝😝 It’s in the 80’s today here in Florida! You need to move south!!😂😂
@Stanly Stud I agree! Coke or Mug Root Beer all the way!😂👍🏻
Stay warm!

It's low 50s in Texas Panhandle area where I'm at. Partly cloudy and wind blowing.

Great investigation Adam. Got chills when I heard "Paddy and Bridget are here" . Awesome!!
The necrophone talk brought tears to my eyes. This was so powerful.
This was fun exploring with you😁👍
Praying that they cross over peacefully. Then they can be with family and friends. They seemed to trust you. I ❤🙏🏼
Waiting patiently with a big smile!!!!♥️♥️♥️💯👻👻👻👻👻😘
Can't wait Adam, I'm sure it will be as enjoyable as every exploration xx 😘
Great exploring Adam ur so respectful to those homes you vist , enjoy watching you exploring getting history behind the homes & people who lived there 🙏I was born in Ireland still have family there ,Thankyou
Great explore, thank you for being so respectful, so many explorers just disregard what once was 🙏
Excellent explore today, Adam. I loved all the Catholic statues, art, holy water font and bottles, books, etc. Very religious family. Those scratches on the wall were so strange! Great responses from the devices, too! Thank you! 👏
raccoons
@@nancy7665don't get them in Ireland.
@@nancy7665no Racoons here...😂😂
This was great. Poor Patrick and Bridget - not a nice way for either to go. No wonder their souls are still hanging around. This is my first watch of one of your videos - you have a new subscriber 😁
Hi new subscriber 👋 thanks for being respectful to the house and previous occupants🙏 it was fascinating to see what was left behind.😢
I love your comments as you go around...".look at it now, she be fuming" and "this picture needs work"...😂😂😂....
I like how respectful you are. You should wear a mask as mold pores can be a big health problem down the road. Glad I found your channel
The house is stunning and creeping me out with all that activity! I would love the mustard coloured three piece!
Great explore Adam. I like how calm you are and the respect you show to what has been left. Too bad nobody took over this lovely home after the fire. 👍👍👍
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. You are so respectful and sweet to the dear lady. I'm now a fan! 💕
How cool is it that it said “injury” at the bottom of the staircase when an owner died from a fall down the stairs! Seems like true validation.
Can't wait 🤔 Your explores are so fascinating Adam. Roll on Sunday 😜 Rich 🇬🇧
The tiny religious basin on the wall is for holy water. The bench with the "writing table" is for an old rotary style telephone and in the states is called a gossip bench. Love all your videos! Keep up the great work.
I'm still laughing over "midget porn and Jesus shouldn't be in the same room".
So ironic all the religious stuff all over the house yet it caught fire and burned.
This will be very interesting to watch and who knows what surprises installed in this abandoned house. However Adam your exploring into abandoned property is worth to watch and you are well respected by not causing no damage to other people's property.
You are very cautious and respectful in your speech not to hurt anyone. Thank you for sharing the vidéo
Love this especially since I live in Cape Town South Africa xxxxx I'm Irish from Dublin❤❤❤❤❤
I'm also from SA gauteng Pretoria I'm amelia
when you look back on comments the spirits replied to you... it did say Paddy was there and blood. you said at the start he died falling down the stairs. that could be the blood. so sad about the fire, which killed Bridget his wife, although she looked pretty elderly in those pictures to start off with. thanks Adam for a great Irish Explore
Hi Adam what a great house... love how you tell us the family history... knock water is a holy water from a pilgrimage to knock in County mayo.... beautiful place to visit and quite atmospheric.... thanks so much for your hard work giving us another amazing timepiece...❤
hahahaha one thing I like about Mark is his one liner's at around 06:00 after opening the dunny lid imagining a rat poking it's head out " I would have cacked my pants " I love you man and the way you entertain us with your explores, thank you for bringing us along where ever you go, much love man
At 6:15, that is a vintage phone table. The phone sat on the table part. The bench was there because the phone was stationary. My Great Grandmother had a phone table very similar to that. Her seat part was more chair size.
This is an amazing tour! I'm only about 10 minutes in and I'm so sad to see this beautiful home like this! 🫶🏼🔮💞
I clicked the video originally, due to the title.
No one wants a haunted house
Adam you are such a teaser. Waiting for this explore I chewed my nails down as far as I could. You always have the best explores. Ellen from Arkansas.
Love your channel ♥️♥️
Hey Nellie thank you so much
@@AdamMark you are very welcome, thank YOU for doing these and you can see how much you genuinely enjoy it😊🥰♥️
My uncle, who was a builder, always said “never have ivy covered walls, it sticks to the walls and is difficult to remove and damages the brickwork” proof of which are these old houses you visit.
You always strike me as a respectful person with these investigations, and the history aspect given adds to the whole content. 😊
I'm tuning into Matt then straight into yours after. Will be fun! ✌️&❤️ from America 🇺🇲🙋🏼♀️
The religious painting you thought was done by a child is
an Icon, a very early form of specialized painting done by mixing egg with the paint and take a long time to do.
Easy to see how Patrick could fall down those stairs!
@@Littlewolf13 yes definitely had a sinister feel didn’t they 😮
