Hearing this makes me both happy and very sad to the point of crying. My best friend introduced me to Spyro 3 18 years ago. I am now living in the UK and hearing this brings back memories, which really hurt cos I miss my friend so much.
It’s wild looking back to my childhood and thinking that this meant I had a legitimate copy lol. I’ll always have a soft spot for how weird the crack of this game was. Start a new save and immediately have Zoe say “Sorry Spyro, shit’s gonna get weird from here on out” at the first checkpoint, then I suddenly have infinite gems, then the skateboarding level suddenly doesn’t have music for some reason, then randomly I’ll open the compendium and see I have eggs from levels I never played, “oh you reached the first boss? Cool, we’re gonna warp you two chapters ahead now with no way to get back” hey, why is Spyro green all of a sudden? “Hey cool, you reached the final boss, we’re gonna overwrite your save at 0% and warp you back to the start now” lol. There was something so fun about seeing a game behave so strangely.
Same dude, I'm just hearing this for the first time and I'm autistic level obsessed with spyro 3, it's my comfort game I go back to at least once a year, but realistically like 3 times a year
funny thing to mention is that the first crack didn't work due to mod chip detection,...took 3 months to finally make it kind of work....was still wonky
its been cracked for many years now, but it was still pretty hard to find for a long time. I just found a version on a really COOL site with lots of ROMS on it that works perfect
@@CLUBNEON-m6i the first one bugs a lot sooner than the last world, I remember having the misfortune of burning it and getting to evening lake when things started acting funny (i.e. deleting eggs, only having 2 hit points, taking me to super bonus world out of nowhere). Also, the version I had didn't say "perfect crack!!" on the splash screen or whatever you call it. I seem to remember people saying that the version shown here would play flawlessly up until the sorceress fight, where it would crash and delete your saves, but don't quote me on that.

Exactly the same. My biggest confusion was entering the boss area just to be warped back to sunrise springs. This theme kicks ass though

There was two versions: the first one that will bug in the last world, and the perfect version. This is the first one and cannot be finished
