    in a tape recording, Jean Klein said, "we are NOT the mind"...I was thrilled to hear that but did not get it that I could turn my mind on or OFF at will, so I've been a prisoner of my own mind for 86 years!!! This session is a MAJOR break thru for me!!! I have a "mind" BUT, it no longer HAS ME!! 😮😮😮😂😂😂

    So crazy at the start and the end of this conversation she’s talking completely different about the “roller coaster rides”. She really woke up 😄 I want to wake up too

      You already are - just don't buy any more tickets for the rides :)

      I like to ask the question, "what would it be like to live life as if I were already awake?" (because I am =)

    I just can't stop crying with tears of joy. I've been watching this in my car. Something's happened. The beginning of freedom. It's was the tickets and the laughter. It's the normality of the descriptions and the laughter. Thank you thank you thank you 🙏

      I've also felt the shift occurring after watching this interview. I've watched quite a few of David's interviews with others and have picked up bits and pieces from them, but I keep coming back to this one and have watched it several times. Rika I'm so happy you made the realization during this interview and I just love the laughter and all the things David pointed out about the mind being a commentator and the tickets and the rides and how we can turn the mind off. It is all resonating with me and I'm finally getting it! My mind has been so overactive and controlling for most of my life and I am ready to shut it up! LOL. I'm so thankful for this interview and Rika I found your You Tube channel and am subscribing and just enjoy hearing you talk about all this. You and David are both a blessing. Please keep doing your videos. They are amazing! 💗

    This is the best David Bingham talk I have seen. I laughed out loud at all the tickets Rika had been buying for all the different rides! What a great lady and what an enlightening talk, thank you so much. I have finally cancelled my season ticket for the fairground.

    Rlka & David thanks so much for sharing this.
    I had already spoken to David myself and watched many of the videos on TH-cam but the clarity that has emerged in this one is out of this world 💫 I use this technique of observing thoughts then the emotions that arise and it’s become second nature to me. I switch it on/off as I move through the day This video made me understand it on a deeper level.
    It is the clearest form of pointing I have ever experienced!

    Driving to the beach, my mind was stuck in constant anxiety. Suddenly, i remembered the constant ringing inside my head &, just as suddenly, my troubled mind STOPPED! Each time my mind tried to resume, i returned to the ringing in my head & my mind simply STOPPED!
    I was SO HAPPY to have a way to stop my mind from often torturing me with its hurtful old thoughts, feelings, images, memories, guilts, shames, threats, blames...mostly from past NEGATIVE conditioning from my own parents!
    The "ringing" in my head is an ever present SAVIOR from my very damaged mind!!!
    Thank you....❤

    I liked how she caught the habitual nature of the mind... there seems to be a noticeable drop in "presence" when the habitual mind kicks in... rest as the effortless being, I love it!

    Thank you both so much for sharing this conversation. Everything you spoke about is so much clearer for me now, and I enjoyed Rika’s delight in the gradual (but quick!) dawning of her understanding. I am at home, feeling quite unwell with a virus right now, but calm and centred, and with a weight lifted from my shoulders.

    What a beautiful awaking find with much bliss! I can definitely identify when Rika stated her rides could have been alot worst. Thank you, thank you, thank you both for your honesty and openness. These video's are extremely helpness after awaking to the fact that we are all just resting as the infinite being. David thank you, thank you, thank you for pointing out the concept of accepting invitations. My gratitude and love cannot be described.

    I Love the discernment between “beamed in” thoughts, effortlessly arising and engaging the tool of thinking. ❤ and then how the 2 can get mixed up and become unmanageable thinking. Thanks 🙏 so much for sharing

    The football commentator and the theme park rides. I really get it. Somehow after a spontaneous 'no self' experience, I really needed a conceptual framework that would clear the confusion. Thank you.

    Wow.. so just read (audio).. the greatest secret.. RB.. where davi also talks .but instinct bought me to this video..which throughs those concepts also overboard...divine and accelerating guidance seems to be at play.. using every experience to guide one back to oneself.. and we intuitively know this, because what we are drawn too seems personally tailored to our level of recognition. 🙏

    If you want to get rid of that ringing. Place your fingers on your mid ear, follow both fingers to the back of your head. Your fingers should sit on these bumps of the skull. Now lift the fingers and tap. Keep it up, this will get rid of it

    Beautiful realization with Rika. Thank you so much, David, for sharing your wisdom so directly and clearly. One Question: you have mentioned thoughts and emotions being "beamed in" on more than one interview and I find this very interesting. Where are they being beamed in from? The collective unconscious?

    Raises big questions about learned behaviour. parents tell children to find something to do, don’t do nothing! This is the conflict between effortless awareness and our becoming our roles in life. Shame we don’t learn naturally as part of our upbringing/ education which would lead to more fulfilled lives for us all

    • @rikarivkamarkel
      @rikarivkamarkel 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I couldn't agree more. We have to teach our children how to be aware, it would change the world. 😀

    I am not sure I can do that with my inside commentator. It seems to just rise up even without my consenting to it!

    • @Emma-ch1lj
      @Emma-ch1lj 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank it, then turn the attention away. The inside commentator is like an overzealous bodyguard constantly trying to alert you to physical/emotional/psychological danger, but it doesn't realise it's doing more harm than good.

    • @jimrich4192
      @jimrich4192 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My inside commentator (critic) is compulsive & automatic so, by listening to or focusing on the ringing in my head, my critical mind/ego simply STOPS! For now, I have to do this again & again!
      Thanx for this TOOL!😅

    Is it really consent when we are small children? We don't understand any of what's going on, and we often get in trouble if we don't play along.
