It wasn't a revolution in terms of rebellion it was a revolution in terms of time after this war and this battle especially the world changed it wasn't the good old days anymore it brought forth the cold war it brought forth the Korean conflict and the baby boomers no longer did the infantry rule the battlefield the wars were won in the air and the age of nuclear supremacy came about the entire conflict was a revolution of ideas ideals and the greatest generation rebuilding our country it was a sad happy melancholy and scary time all the same and i respect all who lived through it Semper Fi to those Marines and a salute to all our armed servicemen of all time
