If you actually watched the game, it's not a stretch to argue that Marino beat the Bears pretty much all by himself. He didn't just put the team on his shoulders... I have never seen one player so unwilling to lose.
Jim McMahan if he hadn't had his shoulder destroyed in 86 by that Packers player cheap shot might literally have taken the Bears back to another super bowl or more.
Yeah, Without him in ‘85 we’d have been 12-4 maybe even 11-5, The Vikings in Minnesota, both games against the pack, even both against Tampa. The best the defence played was the play offs, and the cowboys and redskins games but, there 3 games where conceded 28 or more points.
well he did make it to another superbowl which his team won, backing up brett favre on the packers. which still confuses me as to why he'd be on the packers after the hit.

The point is that ring is just an individual token given to the players on every Super Bowl winning team because it's a team sport and they all contributed but there is only one Lombardi Trophy & the team is taken back to the their house. It truly annoys me that QB's are judged by their ring count when it's a team sport. No QB wins or loses the Super Bowl on their own...
Warren Moon and The Oilers should've been the team to play in the Superbowl in 1992 after leading in the wild card game against The Bills 35-3 and collapse in overtime losing 41-38.

I completely disagree with you putting Jeff Hostetler on this list. The fact that you didn't mention that he played for the raiders makes me think you didn't even research it. He played 4 years for the raiders. Year one: led raiders to playoffs and won a playoff game. Year 2: made the pro bowl. Year 3: led the raiders to an 8-2 record before he got injured. Year 4: at 36 he started aging badly but still hit his career high in TDs. Raiders finished 7-9 and they cut him. Raider fans still think fondly of "Hoss", a good quarterback for us.
Jim McMahon may not put up big time stats or anything but he's won not one but two Super Bowl's in his career in 1985 with the Bears it is because of the entire Defense that lead the way and in 1996 with Green Bay Packers as the 3rd string backup QB with Brett Favre as well as Doug Pederson too 0:28

When it comes to McMahon, when he was healthy he ranked among the top QBs in the NFC in passer rating and his win loss record as Bears starter was impeccable. Now as far as one of the worst QBs to win Superbowls, you have to go with Bradshaw. I challenge you to look at his year by year TDs vs interceptions to see how bad he was. Talk about a QB riding the coattails of a dominant defense, he rode them all the way to the hall of fame.

@1:00, are you on drugs? Jim McMahon's record from 1985 to 1987 was 22-1. The season before ('84) and after ('88) he went 7-2 both years. In 1991, he was 8-3 in Philly. In 1993, hw went 8-4 and led the Vikings to the playoffs. This guy was a winner.
For Jim McMahon it was his and others leadership off the feild to rally the team to get it done for sweetness number 34 because it was his last year in the NFL. He was injured as well. Overall it was a team effort.

Even Tony Romo was way better than Cam. Cam had 2 very good seasons. His MVP in 2015 and his rookie season. That's it
One note on Dan Marino. His Dolphins were the only team to beat that dominant '85 Bears team that year.
There has been a debate if the 85 Bears could have beaten the undefeated 72 Dolphins. Hell the 85 Bears couldn’t even beat the 85 Dolphins!

Horrible Hoyer and Blaine “LAME” Gabbert do not deserve Super Bowl rings
Without the Philly Special that got the Eagles that win Nick Foles and Doug Pederson would not have a Statue in Philadelphia 3:09
Cam Newtons numbers are worse than kurt cousins 😂😂😂😂😂
The Cam hate is unreal.. if you dont like him, just say that but dont ignore how good he was at his peak.
Giants didn’t play in Super Bowl 15 they played in Super Bowl 25 the eagles and raiders played in Super Bowl 15
You know Nick foles might not be the best qb in the league but he deserves all the credit for that super bowl and I’m a way a good underdog story
Newton over Kelly and Fouts? Sad choice.
Greatest QB to never win a super is Dan Fouts!
How is Cam Newton on this list, no hustle, no character, no talent.
It's Unfathomable and absolutely Criminal so Criminal that Warren Moon was one of the most underrated QB's to never win a Super Bowl Ring like here's a man who had excellent success in the CFL but when he got to the NFL he definitely had one of the absolute BEST accuracies in his hall of fame career he really throws the ball with the greatest of E's but this man was certainly the real deal but when he played vs Chiefs he had 522 passing yards in a game too but still this man certainly does deserves at least one or two Super Bowl's in his resume 3:30
5 GTNW are: Rivers, Marino, Moon, Fouts, Kelly/Tarkenton (couldnt decide on the last slot). This shouldve been a no-brainer
Jim McMahon wasnt a bad QB. He was careless and played like a running back. So he was injured alot.
Cam Newton over Jim Kelly and Dan Fouts and like 7 other guys is ridiculous
That foles sb was probably the best sb I have ever seen besides tampa bay buccaneers 2002 sb run
I haven't started the list yet but Donovan McNabb better be on this list he made the Super Bowl in like 5 nfc championship games
Glad to see my guy Ryp did not make this list he was a 2 time probowler
Cam Newton? GTFO had 1 good season big deal. Jim Kelly, Dan Fouts both way above Newton. Newton will never sniff the HOF.
Love your video TPS and keep up the great work you are awesome
Absurd to compare Rivers with Marino, as well as the talent they were surrounded with.
Dan Marino, Warren Moon, Jim Kelly. Are by far the best quarterbacks to not win a Super Bowl.
Disrespectful as hell to put Foles on this list
Keep Nick Foles out your mouth he deserved that Super Bowl 3:26
For Jim McMahon it was his and others leadership off the feild to rally the team to get it done for sweetness number 34 because it was his last year in the NFL. He was injured as well. Overall it was a team effort.
McMahon actually got 2 rings! The other was with Green Bay with Brett Favre as quarterback when they won the Superbowl!
Dan Marino changed the game at the QB position from then to what we see now 7:37
Jeff Hostetler was the reason why he got the Giants to the Super Bowl when Phil Sims got hurt but what did Hostetler do? He got the job done against the Buffalo Bills in the 1990 season but hey give the man credit he may not the most NFL ready type player but winning the Super Bowl is what matters at the end of the day 6:14
The Giants won a Super Bowl with a backup quarterback, a backup running back averaging 3.3 ypc. Their two little starting receivers would be #3 receivers on any other team. Yet they got it done, Crazy.
The five best quarterbacks who never won a Super Bowl:
1. Dan Marino
2. Jim Kelly
3. Fran Tarkenton
4. Warren Moon
5. Phillip Rivers
The five least heralded quarterbacks to win a Super Bowl:
1. Trent Dilfer
2. Nick Foles
3. Mark Rypien
4. Brad Johnson
5. Jeff Hostetler
How about Matt Ryan, Randall Cunningham, or Dan Fouts?
Rypien was great.
Rivers always sucked.
