Totally get this. I saw Phoenix in January at AlterEgo. When Thomas C walked into the crowd during the last song, I was bawling. It was beautiful. I still can't watch that clip from the show without crying now esp because you can see the joy in the faces of all the fans as he's walking through. Love that we can all let the tears flow through music. Rock on, man.
oh that transition from acoustic to full band was AWESOME!! i really hope they do that if they play only in dreams when i see them. thanks for recording this bro =w=
The one and only... Good to know there are people on planet earth who feel the same esp. at the end of the song. It's like getting a depression and orgasm at the same time 😅
My friend told me that he listened to an album a day for a year during the pandemic. I started that almost two months ago and Weezer Blue was number #52 on my list which I hit today. Just heard this song about 30 minutes ago and it is now my fav Weezer tune! (second place is "Can't Knock the Hustle". And one of the greatest videos. LOVE Pete Wentz in that.) Anyways...great song. Going to put the rest of the Weezer albums on my to-do list.
The audience singing gives me chills. My favirite song by them besides say it aint so. 1:50 in how he just goes into lead guitar lets bass pkaybthe rhythem 🙏
When i was 12 i liked a girl. Like, a LOT. We were very alike and saw eachother often. This song reminds me of that. And of after that. After she said no i respected it but i still wanted to be with her (and still do feel that way a little) and had to see her very often which didn't help much. Randomly tought about that because i just came back from a week-long school trip where i had to see her again. Every day. Not very cool but this song helped iy
They only played the solo/bridge part of the song (but there were no vocals). It was more of a transition to link Say It Aint So with Hash Pipe. It sounded really cool, but wish they had played the entire song.
This is their best song imo
One of them
if you don’t count demos it’s my favourite
Same
#meatOhhh
Same with me man.
the guy saying "WWOOO RIVERS" is totally creeping him out
yep, was a drunk guy to my right.
Nope
Man you really freak me out
Dammit, I so badly want the guy just yelling "RIVERS!" at the beginning to be responded back to him with a "WHHHHHAAAAT?!?"
Hearing modern rivers sing blue songs really shows how much he changed his singing voice since then
It's been over 30 years since then, believe me I know 😂
I cried at the end! It's my all time favorite Weezer song, along with Across the Sea!!! 😭
Just saw them last weekend. Dude I was bawling straight in the beginning lol

seeing this comment I was hoping it was when the first bridge kicked on. Would've been cool to leave it full acoustic til then.
Unreal. thanks for sharing.
it's so good, it makes no sense.
Best fucking outro ever

Fucking sick!! They havent played this song in tour since 2015!!! Glad they brought it back.
Que pedazo de tema por favor, un auténtico temazo con todas las letras. Esta versión es excelente. Aguante Weezer carajo!! Saludos desde Argentina 🥰

Acoustics kind of lose the magic here.
Austin Powers
Still a great song - even with the sloppy drum fills.
Is the drummer drunk? Christ that was terrible
Probably 😂😂😂
The drummer has always tried to do these weird syncopated fills all the time - he does it a lot in Pinkerton lol
Don’t shit on ma boy Patrick!!1!11
