One of the things i do, it’s to have a tray with hot water and i put the jugos with the Melt & Pour soap inside when i am not using. That prevenis to harden só fast
I've loved watching your video. I know you'll get it together. I know you'll do well and make some good coin for your effort. I've learned things too. Bless you from NZ.
Just watched for the first time, gorgeous soaps. Just started melt and pour and with out a doubt definitely gonna give this a go. Hope your fare goes well but most of all your big house move, I know by know all these things should be over and done with, and you should be nicely settled. Am certainly gonna look out for more of your video's. 🥰🇬🇧
I’d take 3 x wat you usually take. It’ll be busy. I’m from Iowa. I luv it. But the winters are very grey and cold. Prepare for the chill. !!! I currently have been in Kansas for almost 40 yrs. But my family lives in Iowa. Good luck to you. !!! Great video. !!!
Thank you for the great video! These are fantastic. Hope you keep sharing videos. I'm new to melt and pour and I appreciate your approach and details!!!
Thank you so much! I will be sharing videos alot more frequently here very soon. I'm in the process of creating my soap room and I've also got better video equipment on the way. So making videos will be alot easier for me now. Please subscribe to my channel, if you haven't already, and also click the bell notification.....that will you'll see all my new upcoming videos. I have lots planned 😀
Thank you. I hope to be making more very soon. My videos have been few and far between because I didn’t have a very good setup in the past (I’m sure you’ve heard me complain about it lol). But I recently moved and now have my own soap room so videos will be much easier now. So now I’ll have no excuse lol

Hello, someone gave me a few packs of melt and pour soap base. I never heard of it before. My question is can I use it as is.or do I need to melt it and add stuff
I know it’s frustrating. But it’s the price to pay for a nice swirl. You don’t want it gloppy, but it’s got to be slightly thick or else your colors will mix together. If you’re using a bigger loaf mold then expect to reheat multiple times. If you’re using smaller molds then you won’t have to reheat as often probably.
Thanks for the updated tutorial. I'm a melt and pour newbie here... does re-warming the soap after the fragrance/essential oils are added have any effect on the scent? I mean just quick zaps in the microwave when it starts to get gloopy when pouring. Thanks~
Hello from Nz - first time viewer here. I'm learning how to do soap making. Can you tell me whsys in your spray bottke? And ehy do you spray between every 4-5 layerz? Thank you.
Hello. It’s rubbing alcohol. It helps to pop the air bubbles. Also if you’re making a layered soap, you would spray in between layers to help the layers stick together. :)
Hey. I used 25% dark green and 25% light green. My 4 square mold that I used holds about 28 ounces, so therefore I used 7 ounces of light green and 7 ounces of dark green. For the fragrance oil I used 3% of my total soap base but each fragrance oil can be different so always make sure you check the guidelines.
I’ve never had a problem with that, but I always reheat in small bursts, especially when using those little cups cause it can scorch fast. So I only reheat for no more than 5 secs at a time. FYI I’ve been playing around with temps (Yes I love experimenting) since making this video and I’ve got it down pat where I don’t have to reheat at all when pouring a batch in this individual mold. I start off with the temps being a bit warmer but not so warm that they’re muddling together. I’ve found that it’s producing a slightly different design but I still love it 😍 So I might need to do another video discussing this.
I’m gonna start back. I’ve just had too much going on in my life the last year, it seems lol. But I have another video to post….I just need to edit it. I should have it posted in the next few days :)
I really like how u use a smaller cup to control your pour and how much ! great idea!

Hello, someone gave me a few packs of melt and pour soap base. I never heard of it before. My question is can I use it as is.or do I need to melt it and add stuff
I just dealt with that today, having to reheat the soaps about 4-5 times. First time making a MP swirl.

Can I ask if you get sparkles on your hand when using Mica powder?
Pretty

You're welcome.....and no it doesn't. As long as you're not overheating the base, the fragrance/essential oil should not be effected.
question: what did you spray on the mold at 2:47?
Thanks!
What did you mix your color with?

@@jencrazysoaplady oh thank you for the information. Much appreciated.🙂
How much soap bace each for both colors. And how much fragrance oil each.

I’ve always been afraid to re-warm my bases too much because the FO burns off with reheating. Do you find this to be a problem?
