Wow! Great catch guys! It was nice to see Matt so busy and even falling behind a bit with all those fish. That doesn't happen too often! Thanks for another great video guys.
it's great to see your appreciation for the hard work put into the videos, and that classic "the one that got away" moment always adds some fun! what's your favorite fishing story that you like to share?
That was a very nice set for the butts and cod. Too bad you didn’t include a short clip of what the bottom looked like on your structure scan. Depth, sand, mud, gravel? The aid of electronics always interests me. That certainly was a nice one that came unbuttoned on the rail. 😂Good job guys.
What I really like this video father and son have a good relationship and work together how I wish my son do the same to me…. I’m hoping someday I will see him in person 23 yrs now I’m still waiting. Good luck to you both and be safe at the sea 🌊
Great job guys. Beautiful string of fish! I was wondering if you guys ever eat any fish that you catch when overnight on the grounds, and if so, which do you prefer, Cod, Yellow Eye, Haddock or Rockfish??? Tight Lines!
sorry. when its too cold. good mood to laugh. remember to have something to drink. Good mood. Something to dry the eyes you gonna need it. I always have coffee. time is not a problem. sleep about 2hrs per day. will get lots of time later. cant think off something else. u are family
"That's annoying", some boat captain apparently let the boat navigate without a captain. Maybe a new captain is in order and could think ahead to prevent that screw up.
Not for a boat of our scale. If we caught 3000 lbs of halibut, we could only keep 150 lbs of skate, not worth the effort unfortunately. It would only be 2 or 3 skates.
Tell that young man next time to lift with his legs, not his back, he's making me cringe watching him. I should show this to my chiropractor. Nice haul ty for the video.
Yeah, it's hard for us to watch these guys sometimes, those big fish are quite unwieldly. That's why Dad and I two-man the ones we clean up on the table. No sense in blowing your back out.
Good trip guys. Thanks for taking me along.

Thanks for watching, we had a great time on this set! If only they were all like that...I guess that'd be too easy, haha!
Awesome guys. Really appreciate your hard work and taking us along. A least you’ve got on camera “the one that got away, that was this big!”
I didnt want that set to end. So much fun to watch
Your dad's excitement early in the video made me think of the TV show The A-Team, and the tag line "I love it when a plan comes together."
Wow, there was a few fish suppers in there. Nice one guys. 🇬🇧
Shame there’s no market for starfish 😂
That’s a great way to end a trip!
It gives me total peace and relaxation to watch you... and to dream of being there one day.
I get excited watching yalls video's. Love from Tennessee.
thanks to the chief editor, mrs Anita.
Great job you guys! Stay safe and God bless you all!
Congrats on the catch guys. Greetings from Misery Bay Northern Denmark
Cheers, steen!
Glad you guys had a good day.
Great set guys. I love it when you have a great day catching.
Same, makes fishing easy when the fish are coming on!
That was a great set and a beautiful hold full of
Nice to see a good set to finish on....looks like it has been some tough fishing.
It's been a challenging year for sure.
This is a good angle
Things got a bit messy there. All good in the end😊
Great catch. Ol Matt was hustling there for a bit.
Nice haul!!
You have made my day thanks
For sure! Thanks you for watching.

Must feel good to get the skunk off the set on the first two hooks and then get that great run.

Fish very lively not been on the hook long I would think
Fishtail? Thought you were out on Emerald! Lol
Haha yep, just had to wrap up the last bit of footage. Ending on a good note too! Emerald Isle fishing is next! 😄
Great job guys. Beautiful string of fish! I was wondering if you guys ever eat any fish that you catch when overnight on the grounds, and if so, which do you prefer, Cod, Yellow Eye, Haddock or Rockfish??? Tight Lines!
Great catch, guys. Did you guys go to mass this Sunday, by the way?
Amazing string!
What was the final count?
Favorable butt to Patrick ratio 😂
Great camera angle.
It's a great day for a swim ! How do you miss the float line? Take it off of auto-pilot. Ha Ha Ha
I thought from what you said on your last video you were going to fish from the Emerald isle.
There is some overlap on videos. We have been fishing on the Emerald Isle for a month or so now.
Good

why are the cod mixed with the halibut for the weight in the offload net?
They dump the tote on a conveyor belt and sort them out for weights after.
why are you guys still using the little boat? Is it easier to maneuver when hauling the lines? Is it primarily for salmon fishing? Nice haul btw!
We'll continue using the Fish Tale going forward for a few fisheries. Some longlining, but also jigging.
"That's annoying", some boat captain apparently let the boat navigate without a captain. Maybe a new captain is in order and could think ahead to prevent that screw up.
Something fishy going on here guys, one minute we're on Emerald maiden voyage next we're back on Fish Tale, what's going on?🙂
Matt said last video there were a few out of sequence that he was going to post
Yes, we couldn't leave the last good set on the Fish Tale. Thankfully it ended with a nice day out!
Fishing, that's what's going on. Be glad we get to see both of these boats.
못알아듣지만 영상이 좋습니다
Is there any market for Skate at all?
Not for a boat of our scale. If we caught 3000 lbs of halibut, we could only keep 150 lbs of skate, not worth the effort unfortunately. It would only be 2 or 3 skates.
how old is the Halibut when it is big enough to keep on average,, thanks Jerry
How deep was this set?
Nice Set! Too bad the audio was so bad. It would have been fun to hear the excitement in your voices.
Je suis en France. Boone pêche
I would try to stay away from getting the line tangled in the prop. (takes too long to untangle)
Yeah, its never good good thing getting line in the wheel.
Is the the twilight zone?😂
whats the weight of your biggest halibut you have caught together
Before we started TH-cam, probably #220. Since recording our experiences, probably #160.
@@EISAlaska I live on vancouver island in BC Canada in the late 70's we caught one 312lbs seen many monsters over the years
Not to often we see you loosing one , good job not swearing on camera . LOL
Yeah, tough when that happens...sometimes they just get the better of ya. They get to go back and keep growing!
Sorry, meant to say Halibut!
ooops
Hope it's not in the prop😮
Can and have happened to everyone. difference they cut this part. love honest

u see im not stupid you changed the spool back over.
Useing that old boat again ☹️🤧😏
Nothing wrong with the old boat as long as it works great for fishing. 🎣 That’s what we’re here for to watch them fishing. 🎣
It's the last of our Fish Tale footage. Couldn't leave the last good set without publishing it! We're working on the Emerald Isle now.
Crap bad hook
I agree one minute on one boat then the next…….love watching this but not going to watch as s fool……..
Lucky for you this is the last of our Fish Tale footage for now. We're full steam on the Emerald Isle!
