I love how these mods have turned a good transport/city simulation game into a sandbox for works of art. After seeing a few videos like this I've downloaded the mods to tinker with props and roads and my newest city looks so much better, far more realistic once you start lining up railways with pavement, placing props and parking and merging canals, bridges, parks and stadiums. These mods have increased my building skill and city aesthetic by a factor of ten.
Very good locking place. I suggest you to use more texture tiles(like some wood deck on the pool) and make different levels of height in your water front(this is very tall). Also, use props to your vannila quays, they are very poor in details. For the next video you could show some of your future plans, parts of the city and more progress. Good work!

Unfortunately it's the same as a regular intersection with channelized right turns. You still have to wait at a stop light to turn left, go straight, and wait for traffic in the other direction to do the same. Diverging diamond intersections are as close to perfect as I can find.
Unfortunately roads have to cross. On top of that unfortunately bridges are very expensive. Diverging Diamond Intersections are intended for highway over passes and include multiple lighted intersections. The example in this video shows a great way to reduce the amount of traffic passing through the intersection removing the need for the flow of traffic to stop in 4 of the 12 routes. This means 1/3 of the traffic never has to stop. In a DDI traffic traveling in 2 of the 12 routes has to stop at two lighted intersections. In my mind the intersections both have advantages and disadvantages and which is most beneficial would depend on the greater situation.
I wish I had the kind of patience and dedication to not only do this kind of work but also find / install / learn all the mods needed to do this because this is just fantastic! Well done; you're earned yourself a sub!

Great work and the decoration really makes it come to life! The only thing I'd like to see is how it handles much traffic since I believe that aesthetics combined with that it actually works is the true key to a perfect intersection :) keep up the good work!
Same. He builds the "perfect intersection" but doesn't show it flowing with a ton of traffic. So really he just spent a long time building a unique intersection. And well if you watch any current videos we all know the "perfect intersection' is a roundabout 😛

Aside from a really extended right turn slip way which isn't that big a deal, the rest of the intersection doesn't reduce the need for a signal, you still need left turning signals and this dude didn't even place those. For future reference, if you're trying to simulate those semi trucks as loading/unloading they would always be completely backed up and flush against the building. Sometimes the tractor (truck) is disconnected and parked like 7' in front of the trailer when they load/unload for safety reasons, sometimes they remain connected and sometimes there is no truck it's just a trailer. Of course there is also a mixture of all of these, just in case you wanted to make it look a little more realistic.

That's a nice intersection. I'd like to see your take on a CFI (continuous flow intersection). They work well in this game, they look awesome and the CIMs seem to like it too!
Nice Episode! You realy show talent and I'm already eager to see what you come up with next. Maybe you want to try a theme park? Since the time that Silv and Flux tried that a lot of time has passed and with the new mods like prop snapping and rico you can now create realy neat looking main streets and with all the assets it is possible to actualy theme the park with asian / roman / western parts... I recently tried this and was amazed at how good it actualy works with all the prop variety and new mods.

We have a similar intersection not far from where I live. Only the right turns have traffic lights of their own, for some reason.
