I'm facing the problem. I create plan, then import objects for scattering over the plan, once I select plan and object for scattering, object scattered over plan and box are shown in view port, but the scattered objects doesn't show in rendering? How may I fix this issue?
Interesting! Nice tutorial! Does it appear as a tool after Vray6 installation or is it a separate plugin by Chaos? How diferent is this compared to Multiscatter plugin? Thank you!
I don't believe Chaos scatter was ever meant to be "the most advanced scatter option" think of it more as a complete package so now you can scatter with a decent set of options, WITHOUT the need of plugins, and it's pretty straight forward. Remember, the more advanced the tool is, usually setup time gets longer and the tool is "harder" to use... If you want more control (just like you mentioned with blender) you could, in 3ds max use Pflow, or just use plugins like Forest Pack or TyFlow to name a few options
Great detailed video, view port exposure and grid scattering was the answers I was looking for. Thank you.

I am excited to know how to modify Cosmos materials. I am always struggling to fit the scale in correct proportions.😰

It's a tool under Chaos, as shown in the tutorial :) its a part of V-Ray 6!
🔥
RIP multiscatter!
vray scatter license required kindly guide me about vray scatter license
Vray 6 comes with V-Ray Scatter by default - so no extra license required - if it doesn't work, re-install or ask on the Chaos forums :)
Blender seems to be more advanced in scattering with many plugins doing a similar scatter.
