i live a block away from this park~ its fantastic. we walk to smorgasbord every sunday, which has become one of the only things i am excited about anymore.
as a new yorker who spends much of the year away now, this series has become a comfort watch for me. not to mention it gives me new parts of neighbourhoods to visit whenever i'm back!
Hope you do one on Alley Pond park in Queens. It is where the 1st motor parkway in the U.S and the tallest tree in NYC are located. Very few people have know about this park.
I've heard of prospect park from various body dumps in American TV shows (I'm a Brit) so was cool getting a tour of a place I'm unlikely to ever visit.
Great video! I wonder if you would ever consider doing Princeton? I know it’s kind of a hike, but you’ve done Long Island places… Lots of great history there also with the university.
I don't mean this super-seriously, but there's a thing you could call a "meadow" (if you really wanted to) in the Trinity River park in Dallas that's extremely huge. Literally miles long. Sometimes it's underwater.
Calvert Vaux was the Architect not the landscape guy. Olmsted was the landscape guy. All the bridges, tunnels, etc (including Bow Bridge in Central Park) was Vaux. You didn't show Endale Arch! You owe me money. Just kidding. Love your vids! Big fans!
0:01 omg. a couple of months before covid i wondup asa tradesman on a hosital extentionjust down the street. every lunch. i would hop the fence in tat exact spot. sit on that over turned tree. smoke a joint. then walk back to work.
Back in the day, there were quite a few "Rumbles" in that park. (Not that i was there) but i did date a 🔥Latin girl who lived across the st. They didnt like us Sunset kids on the turf. Kept the 78 busy.

Hey Tom, have you done a Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn?
Was that Bob Moses on The bridge around 20:42 ?
Brooklyn’s version of Central Park. I resent that as a Brooklyner! 😂 I personally prefer Prospect Park great video .

My brother lived around there for a while. He's an avid bike rider.
The prospect park zoo is still closed right? Hopefully it will be up and running again soon!

Hey Tom “not all those who ramble are lost” 🤔🤔
