I really do like bikes that look like they've been ridden rather than looking perfect all the time. And as I said he'll is in the details. Nicely done sir
Exactly!!!
I like the fact you're doing a mechanical restoration and leaving the patina. She'll be nice!
Very Nice!!!
Can you please give me a link to a pump you used in your parts washer? Thanks

Thanks!
Are the washer 'pump' details mentioned?
It is a simple sump plate available from Harbor Freight!
Cool process. I hope my 64 Honda superhawk turns out this good. I am also trying to keep the shed fresh look
You can do it!
Thanks Weems, great info for us home garage mechanics ✌🏼
My words too. ✌️
Glad we could help!
That Vapor-Hone is amazing, but my budget will stay with your homemade setup.
Great video as always, brother Weems.
Thank you.
Eric in Kissimmee.
My pleasure!
I have 2 engines I'm rebuilding at home and after trying to clean out the intake manifold for my BBC I quickly realized this was going nowhere fast but now I know a better way for the grand total of 40 bucks. Thank you
Do it!
that worked out great what biodegradable cleaner do you use?
I am using a pressure washer degreaser that is made for plastic fencing.
ichiban moto had a few videos about making parts cleaner and they were bad ass I still use his ultrasonic cleaner design
I will check them out!
Can you please post the brand name of the degreaser that you are using.
I use a 2L Ultrasonic Cleaner for carbs and (2) 30L Ultrasonic Cleaners for large parts and clean them with dish soap and water, which works perfectly.
I would like to get rid of the toxic varsol in my 30-gallon parts washer that I use to remove the heavy grease, dirt, and oil, and switch to this decreasing product.
I use Krud Kutter made for pressure washers.
Interesting process
Glad you enjoyed it!
Dude that's cool curious will that Vapor hone remove powder coat?
Probably not
I like that, from now on i'm telling people my shovelhead isn't covered with oil & road grime... "It's history!"
I always say they are sweating horsepower!
Good morning Weems Motor Co
Hey Bruno!
they would have been very interesting master patterns and core boxes to then make dies for mass production , takes me back to my apprenticeship days
It would be awesome to own them!
Which degreaser are you using in the homemade rig? Definitely prefer using shit that isn't toxic.
It is a pressure washer solution for PVC fences.
@@weemsmotorco I'm getting ready to tear down and rebuild an Ironhead that I got two weeks ago, which blew up on me when riding from Seminole, FL to East Orlando... Glad I stumbled on this video. Gonna save me a lot of grief when cleaning everything up to prep to repaint the jugs and heads!
Hey everyone, Fleccas is moving back to Flo Rida. See him enjoying civiche with Rob after tennis.
I will keep an eye out!
i'm loving the videos. where do you get your bibs? I get mine from Round House and they are awesome and made in the USA
I wear several different brands, Which ones are you referring to?
@@weemsmotorco the striped ones. Way cool
@@upchuckchops Those are from Berne
Good Day all
yes it is!
Not to freak you out but I just saw somebody over your left shoulder, just after you finished the high-speed film wash section
Between 3:30 and 3:40 I think
Maybe an optical illusion but I thought I saw something
My left or your left?
@@weemsmotorco my right your left in video
Let me know how to soak oil porosity out of aluminum cases so a repair will hold.
I always bake them on an old grill or old oven at 250 for about an hour!
What kind of brush?
Any nylon hard bristle brush will do!
Cool 👍👍😎
Thanks Flip!
The info about a parts washer is about 15 seconds long starting at 3:13 or so. Rest is about being a TH-cam personality. I succk at presentation. Just want to get on with getting stuff done.
Good Point.
hey,its biodegradable cleaning solvent. Then you can dump the used solvent on your front lawn!
Nice!
Iv found out brick cleaner will kill any rust after only 1 hr of sooking .
Yes!
parts washing on a budget is using the dishwasher with 6 times the soap when the other is not looking.
Too funny! However, the dishwasher can cause discoloration to aluminum parts!
👍😎
Thanks!
😎👍
Xan glad you are enjoying the content!
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Right On!
Geez, get to the point of the vid already.
What was the point anyway?
😎👍😎
Jerry thanks!
But only works.on iron.dont use it on aluminum
