Why do you feel that "guided surgery" leads to less post op pain? Are you doing your guided cases flapless and flapping all freehand cases? I have trouble believing the patient can "feel" the difference in a guide or lack thereof. I'm guessing you're referring to flapless which we discovered decades ago. Have you seen the guided cases that violate key anatomical structures? False trust in a surgical guide can lead to a horrible outcome. I completely agree that we all need to embrace the digital workflow but knowledge of anatomical structures is equally as important as using a surgical guide, IMO.
