As a Diamond who believes my mechanics are trash I would like to say that after seeing the peak Diamonds that I am now applying for a position in Pulse.
I wanted to say something about the diamond clips NOT being peak because they were kind of underwhelming and I JUST got out of diamond (between C1 and C2) but then that evample wave dash happened from the C1 and I was legit thinking it was at least C3 or GC1. the range is crazy
The biggest problem is that a lot of people focus on mechanics they dont need, they go into ranked trying to use said mechanics and fail. Im not mechanical at all, hitting a handful of scuffed flip resets in ranked/casual, but sit in high C2-MidC3 in 2s and 3s. Ranked is all about practice of basic mechanics of hit the ball, recover and rotate. All the flashy things are not useful until you are 100% consistent with them at GC or SSL. In champ lobbies resets, mustys ceiling shots will win you a game here and there, but game sense, difficult angle saves and making right challenges are more important.

@@lemon66111 How would TAS make it flash faster? TAS is literally just a tool to string together multiple attempts. And the boost is definitely flashing faster than normal, maybe you are the person that needs glasses. Clearly it has been slowed down in game and then sped up in external software

I hit a 45 degree flick that launched into the ceilling over a defender in casual with him and then just tapped it in and he was freaking out about how good I was. for reference my peak rank is Champ 1
I would like to apologize on behalf of these diamond clips as a diamond myself I have to say that these are some of the shots they typically hit but these aren’t close to their peak as I see this and or can hit most on a regular 😂😂

You have 2 remember all you need for diamond is basic mechanics and positioning. 2 mechanical ball chasing plats can be destroyed with simple snipes from the back field.
Clip 11 at 8:36 the guy is using TAS cuz look at his boost text it’s flashing faster than normally and that’s a big indicator that someone is using TAS to fake their clips
if you watch further they find out he's actually a plat 3 tho, but it's important to note that extra mode ranks are easier to get, and bakkasmod (despite putting diamond boost on being a wierd choice) is also a possibility, take clip 16, amongst others, they're using alpha boost, does that mean they're a pro?

Fun fact: I am a plat 2 and was in a random 2v2 tournament and accidentally hit a psycho. My teammate tried hitting towards corner so I just jumped and read it and that was my peak clip
As a D2, I can confirm, yes, this is what our garbo lobbies look like. Tho I wouldn't have picked ANY of these Diamond clips to send in to you. They're likely newer Diamond players who haven't been in the rank long (whereas I've been in Diamond since the tail end of S5) and therefore don't really know what a Diamond peak play looks like. That or they're 12 and think every shot they hit is a clip. Lol!
Fun fact: the reason people are plat and they play like diamonds and champs is because they are either hard stuck or they just don't wanna play ranked they just wanna keep practicing

it isn't that different in champ, im c2/c3 and sometimes lobbies make you feel like a pro, and sometimes like a gold
diamond is common for smurfs to be at cus most smurfs are champ who can't get out of champ so they smurf in diamond lol
