I'm a little confused on how neca can create new molds that are completely unique and not have price hikes, but hasbro recolors something and adds 1 or 2 new parts, slaps on 'exclusive', and it increases 5-10 dollars.
By new parts, you just mean reused, but from a different mold, right? haha I'm done with Legends after their most recent price hike. I'll purchase a silver surfer if they re-release him, but that's about it.
Simple answer? NECA uses a different type of plastic. NECA makes all their figures out of PVC. Which can be injected at much lower temps and pressures. Thus allowing for way less expensive tooling. They are do much smaller runs, so the molds don’t have to last as long. Hasbro mainly uses ABS plastic. Now you may notice how NECA figures are legendarily so fragile that they often break in the package, or just sitting undisturbed on your shelf? This is why. NECA’s plastic is like recycled chewing gum.
This line had become the biggest collection I have. With today's reveals, I'll need a new bookshelf specifically for this and the other neca tmnt lines
I’ve managed to avoid all these Neca TMNT figures so far, even though they’re amazing I just don’t want another thing to collect at the moment but if I see this pack in stores I’ll definitely pick it up.
So the duck has four arms I guess in terms of cartoon anatomy right? Usually the wings have the hands. It just looks odd. I don't remember how he was in the cartoons. Are those wings just like attached to the jacket, or are they part of his actual torso? So many questions, its bugging me. Otherwise i like both figures a lot. Good review as always mate.
The Neca TMNT action figures aren't very well engineered but I ended up accepting it and I'm very glad I bought all the different characters. The Neca TMNT cartoon is in fact one of my all time favorite line of action figures. These two look great as usual and I'm anticipating the release of all the action figures I saw being announced recently. I got very excited with the announcement of all the Mirage, Archie comics and IDW characters and character versions. I hope they go deep into the comic universes, specially the IDW comics. Thanks for the review Anthony.
Definitely my least favorite set only because I have no connection to these particular characters. I even prefer the channel 6 humans to these as they have more nostalgic value as support to the turtles. Really excited for this year's releases though.

Neca is also a privately owned company

The 2 packs for this line is fine.
The piston thing is a nice touch
Zup Anthony, 😎👍🏼thanks for the video
Wait you mean on ace duck the mouth bills can come off and swap with the upper heads?
yes
I have no idea who these characters are but I love the style and accessories so much! Thanks for the excellent review Anthony🤟
I’m so broke right now collecting these figures lol

I think Ace Duck has wings in the same way the Ninja Turtles are anthropomorphic martial arts crime fighters who like pizza. Ya know?
@@AnthonysCustoms ahhh yes, hence the whole "mutants" thing. gotcha
Hella late response, but I think your comment is more warranted than you might think. He didn't even have wings in the episode lol.

I actually would have rather have Vernon the mutagen Man. I think these figures are some of the best this whole line has been top notch just about.
