100% correct - they stated in the patchnotes it wouldn't affect the overall standing, but rather how quickly you gain/lose LP and end up where your rank should be

Basically every game I've ever played that has characters or loadouts in it has become less mechanically skilled over time. Companies know you get a core addicted to the game that enjoy the mechanics and when the player base stops growing you make things easier and stronger to bring in the trash.

About the lp gains this season.. If u have huge lose streak u will gain like 8lp from win and lose like 15-20lp, so i think it's really fair
The Riot system might be very loosely based off the Elo system, but it can't be entirely based off that because the elo system is specifically created for 1v1 game types such as chess. Additionally, you can see in chess " Super GMs" are around 2800 elo. Those are your best players in the world. But yea Riot probably has a proprietary MMR system.

hey implemented this on wild rift. A few seasons ago there was barely 200 challangers and 1,000 GMS. Last season there was 30,000 GMS lol. Literally defeats the purpose of ranks if everyone gets a participation award. Dying game.
i sometimes wonder what makes people say nomatter how much nerfs she get annie will still remin op (or every other champ when he gets a buff in general) - like she got a buff which made her from "champ has 1% pick rate" to "champ is completely op" and everybody plays it and u cant nerf it back to normal. My point is - can it be that people just get overhyped by buffs and patch notes in general and rely to much on it and can it be that sometimes to find a new broken pick in the meta u just have to look at some champs that doesnt have the S+ status and crazy pick and win rates ? i hope u guys get my point :)

You’re right generally, but Annie specifically had her E changed to become a shield + damage reflection on spells. This made her trading way stronger. At the same time Tibbers got a massive buff to his scaling. Annie was approaching a 60% winrate before she got hotfix nerfed.
Annie was legit broken for a while.
@@snorter9783 yea idk what they were thinking when they buffed her. Her early game is really strong, wave clear is massive and she scales extremely well. People just underestimating her due to her kit being very simple
@@snorter9783 yes annie for ex was really broken, but like u also said - generally speaking i think that people listen to much to the patch notes. often its just a lesser meaningful buff like 5 movement speed (even tho i understand this makes quite a big difference on the highest level of play) and people go like "this champion cant be nerfed without removing it from the game" :D

They could be preparing for an mmr reset, and seeing how the new elo inflation effects the ranks and how fast people climb using a system that allows people to reach high elo at a reasonable pace. Or not, could be wishful thinking.
Bro he’s so right about yorick that champions kit is just way too overtuned for what he’s meant to do. Even if you put him behind in lane if you leave him alone for half a second he’ll press r and just take 2 turrets before you can even do anything and he’s back in the game. So you have to constantly babysit this champ so he doesn’t do that, essentially making your lead useless because you can’t influence the rest of the map. So tilting when yorick players just sit the bausffs style drooling on their keyboard splitting all game with eclipse/hullbreaker.

The fact mundo E does like 80% reduced damage to yoricks ghouls is simply not fair. You should be able to clear them all in one E. I vibe with you. Yorick needs fixed.
...What? Why?? Yorick ghouls specifically resist AoE incredibly - but they get DECIMATED by auto attacks. Mundo's E is an AA reset with an AoE attached to the kill. The AA reset kills ghouls; the AoE doesn't. I love Mundo, but it works as it should
