Introduction:
We have started from Manigam basecamp at 6AM and reached to Baltal by 7.30AM. we tried our level best to find cloakrooms and couldn't find any. As per helpdesk teams suggestion, we have taken one tent stay for rent and kept all our luggage there. From Baltal basecamp, free food and auto services will be there till entrance to Amarnath Yatra. We availed one and could move forward through check post by 10AM, if we are delayed by few minutes, we can't go further.
There were plenty of mules and horses, because it dust and mud have become too much and trekkers cant even see roads sometimes. Except this issue, everything went well. Since we started our journey late, we have stopped ourself at a place where we about to take 6.5km more to reach to holy cave as it was already late in the night.
BTW, there are number of Langar on the way, you can actually have free food every where .
