Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

When my hubby had to go to pub with his dad when he was a kid his pub lunch was... Peanuts salted and dry roasted, bacon frys and pork scratchings and Lemonade .... Well looked after
No, he just all the free food no different than a homeless person eating what people did not eat off their plates.

I think the eating one item at a time is an English thing. While stations at RAF Bentwaters near Ipswich, I lived off base and often ate with our landlords. While there, we had many conversations about this very thing. And as you say, it was about behavior and being organized. Opinions varied when we discussed what item do you eat first. Carbs, starch, protien,etc. Still eat one item 40 years later.
I dont know why I choose to watch these vids in the middle of the night with an empty stomach, craving fish and chips now,,really enjoyed the video as always, really good ones lately 🙌

What is halloumi? It's basically a sheep milk cheese. I looked this up and it is grilled usually and doesn't melt. Wow, looks fantastic. I've never had pub-grub, but it sure looks fabulous. I like to see the cultural favorites. Well done, Beard.

Also, one of my favorite cold sausages is called big mama- it’s a pickled sausage and I eat them after grocery shopping 😅. It’s my reward for dealing with crowds of American shoppers and all their drama.

I always remember the pork scratchings and then the Fish Man with jellied eels, muscles and crab sticks. 😊 My favourite sit down pub meals were, bangers and mash, egg and chips or some kind of pie, usually steak and kidney pudding. 👍 On Sundays it was roast, chips and two veg. 🍖🍟🌽🍄 Cheers Adam 🍻

@@SirJimOfBob Meh, it's not amazing. It's good for a holiday but you still miss things from home. Sometimes I would love a nice curry or to go to the chippy. Can't happen here (they do have indian restaurants, but they are quite rare compared to England, and not as good). The Mexican food is great though, and if you want a burger, you're sorted.
I always fill my suitcase with jaffa cakes and stuff when I go home. The snacks here are just not as good. We have better crisps too, and their chocolate is nasty.
