i bought one,shoots better than my Glock 9mm,and its a 45. this is my new carry gun. not much heavier than a pistol that holds 16 rounds,im good with 8 and a back up mag.if you gun out of ammo,it also become a great weapon made from steel.
I have one as well. I am very impressed with it. Compares excellently with my Ruger Military Model I have from the mid 1990's and a 1943 Ithaca production 1911A1 I have. The ejection port is too low but that is true of all modern 1911's. Also the flat main spring cover is actually from the original 1911. It should have the arched main spring housing with a lanyard loop. I put wooden double diamond grips on mine. Feels fantastic in hand. Not had a chance to shoot mine yet.

Going to change the internals bc those are mim parts. The barrel, frame and slide are forged that's what sold me.

Massad said don't slide drop any high end 1911 with a tuned up trigger on an empty chamber. It beats the shit out of the hammer and sear engagement. You can dry fire ANY 1911 all day long. I wouldn't worry too much about it on a $400 1911, though. That being said, those Tisas are damn solid guns for the money. VERY underrated. I've put thousands of rounds through mine, and it just goes and goes.

I was not a fan of 45 until I bought a CZ P10F in 45. Now I want to EDC one of those Tisas but Tanker model.

I have this gun. It was great until about 300 rounds. Now im having failure to feed issues in every magazine
