- A quick look at how I did my H3 & H3t Hummer Front Torsion bar lift to get rid of the sloped drooping front end of my 2009 H3t in my drive way with standard tools.
*I am not professional, I just enjoy doing the little things that make a big difference.
I own a 2009 h3t alpha with adventure and luxury package i just replace leaf springs with old man eu spings i notice it lifted mt h3t by 2 inches the old spings gone flat and with my overlanding build has added weight to bed ,now i will need to do same with torsion bars , its too bad no more lift kits available but im happy with my h3t most people never seen a h3t jeep gladiator always looking at me
I own an 06 h3 luxury with a 3.5, I also own a z71 suburban with a 5.3. I love the style of of the h3 and the drivetrain in the suburban. The h3 with a v8 is a perfect rig. You are a lucky man.
hey! i saw your comment on
Rally Roots video and decided to stop by! awesome content! keep it up!
hey, saw your comment on Hairy Tornados video and decided to pop by. hi!
Have you any regrets since stressing your torsion bars, and CV axle boots and joints? I also hear you need a front end alignment after. Luckily my 2007 H3 sits nice and level. I did this once to my 1997 Ford Expedition ( also 4 X 4 ) after putting air bags in the rear springs to lift it. All I got was a front stiff ride yet I enjoyed the lift. Hummer IS the real grand daddy of baby jeeps................
Very good my friend
Gd job love the tips.
Thanks man.
Thank you👍🏼
Hello. Thanks for the video good to know. I really like the views of the h3T haven't had to see one up close just the h3 how different does it look next to one?
I am really thinking in buying one but near ne there's non for sale they are about 600 miles the closest one.
Do you think the h3t has a different look compared to the h3?
Loved this truck. The H3T Alpha is only way to go if you are really looking.
What size tire are those?
Did you need a wheel alignment afterwards? Did your camber change?
Dude my dad has that jack, he's I was like 12 when he bought it, im 29 next week lmao
My tools are so old!
Thanks for the video! Here did you find those black lug nut covers? I need me some of those.
Amazon has everything.
Do you change the suspension geometry requiring re alignment?
a little but not much
Would have loved to see the axle angle change difference
Good point. Maybe when I do the axle upgrade I can take one side down and show the difference in that video.
How did you paint your wheels? Powder coat?
nothing special. Wheel paint.
The tire you measured side was lifted, you’d have to measure after you take out the jack and stand
It appears that way but it had not been lifted yet, just in place.
Was the alignment affected?
You should always check the alignment after this process.
How can you balance the exact same Jack height on each side besides eyeballing by the tires touching the ground?
Count the cranks on the wrench not the jack height. Measure from the hub after letting down the jack. Repeat until perfect.
I want to lift the front of my hummer to match the rear, but I don't want to turn the torsion keys because it will put a lot of wear on your torsion bars and other parts. I also don't want it to ride terribly which is what happens with all cars that have cranked torsion keys
That ruins the ride but assuming you already figured that out
It only affected the ride very little and with good tires inflated properly it rides well and looks so much better.
@@MrEzoperator How does it affect the ride?
@@MrEzoperator Did you get alignment done after you raised it ?
