Just a theory: The "one size" section on SHEIN is probably all samples. Samples are traditionally made in a single size. Coming from the industry, men's clothing is usually made in a sample size "Medium" and women's in a sample size "Small," as this is what a model typically wears. Depending on the size of the company, hundreds of samples need to be made before the clothing item is put into full production. I'm betting these are all samples that either never went into full production, or samples that are different from the full production product (which happens a lot).

@@tiffany8815 plus sizes would fall into a different category. "One size" and "one size fits all" is understood to apply to only "standard sizing" so S-L. I would however like to see someone who wears size large try on these chlothes

I understand saying that you don’t think it will fit a larger waist size (fill in the blank) but why not have someone with a larger waist size to test it?

One size is an Asian size, it was created because the “average size” in asia is this particular small size. Thus not really needing any other size.
I thought they applied it to stretchy clothes. A lot of what I've seen though is the phrase: "one size fits most."

I have to say, Lauryn, you have given me the confidence booster I needed to get out of my shell and try more fashionable items. We have similar body types, and I typically see models without curves. To see you rocking these outfits, along with others in the videos, gave me the push to try crop tops and other of its kind, and I feel fabulous. Thanks girl!

Usually "one size- in terms of sizing" in asian clothing means its only made in one size & sometime its called "free size". Its not implying one size fits all~

Clever keeps liking the comments that we want to see a better range of body types but continues to only show us women who are a large at best.
The one size category is of things that they made batches of but ended up not wanting to mass produce in different sizes(or the a manufacturing size was too inconsistent) so they sell it in a one size category to make some profit

I'm from Peru and here is very common that some clothes like T-shirts and hoodies come in one size which here we call "Standard", and it basically means that the piece of clothing is between a size Small and a Medium, so it doesn't mean it will fit all sizes.That is what I think Shein meant with this category. 🤔🤔
