I've been watching all of them 1, 2 & 3 all afternoon. 90 " 4k screen in full surround sound. You video editing is one point... Sound tracks are king.!!! Thank you for your hard work.
Michael said the GT1 was an absolute animal -- it was also a dinosaur, so he wasn't sure how much he could press it. All of the drivers were briefed to take it easy lol :)
DUDE!!! You killed the internet with your GT1 GP footage... I watched Michael on his run, but this POV was amazing!! Great seeing you at Darin's @FDmotorsports gathering... Thanks for sharing with us!! -M@
LOL..Too bad they weren't allowed to push the cars a bit more. Some of the cars in that group haven't been on a run in ages. :) I'm happy Micheal pumped it in a few areas! He's so funny, was very excited to drive that GT1. I think originally he was scheduled to drive the 911 Dakar Rallye...He was ecstatic about the change of plans. :)
Thanks!! Because it was impossible to shoot every car there. I did have footage of some more cars that stood out, but I didn't include them all in this video. Maybe i'll edit a Rennsport 997 video one day. Thanks for tuning in!
Thanks so much! Yes! What did you think? I find they have some incredible presence on the road in person. The wide body and the centre-lock GT3 wheels..so sweet! Glad to hear you're enjoying these videos!! :P
Yeah it was amazing. It pulled into my office parking lot as I happened to be heading out for a walk. Talked to the owner for a few, turns out we work in the same building. Another really nice Porsche owner. 👍🏼 It was white with orange wheels, mirrors, and seat inserts. Black stripes.
Ha, thanks man! The experience was next level! I'm amazed at the elevation change there...I couldn't edit out the panting in the video as I scaled it haha..
Even though it was 4days, your videos added stuff that I missed👍 You must have been running around, missed meeting you at FD bbq but got to meet Darin, Rudy & others🙂
Glenn, too bad we missed each other at Darin's. Yeah, I was all over the place that weekend, I wanted to get as much as possible and you know what's funny?! I missed a bunch too...No usable footy of Gunther Werks, no footage of that amazing Michelin wall with the colourful GT cars, no Singer DLS....total fail! :( I think everyone missed something :) Oh well, next time! Thanks for watching! :)
After spending some time talking with engineer & owner of Gunther Werk, guys in our group become fans. Did you go to Canepa open house? Seinfeld’s ‘76 911 RSR was there for a complete engine overhauled.
I didn't get out to Canepa or the Cars&Coffee in Carmel. Spent a bit of time with Peter from Gunther Werks -- indeed, great guy with a super cool "reimagined' 993
Dude...you got a GoPro in a GT1...that's amazing. Never hurts to ask! Another awesome video! You deserve so many more subs, hope these videos help out with that, they should!
Congrats on your Carrera!!! And in that colour, that's fantastic! My friend and I lament about the Maritime blue 964 C2 that was for sale locally for strong money at the time, but it was so beautiful and it got away... Great colour! I'm pretty sure there was a 997.2 GT3 there, but I didn't manage to capture it... Again, congrats on your 997! Enjoy! :)
Thanks for watching. Yeah GoPros suck..Especially the Session. Also sucks that the drivers didn't do a hot lap with the cars vs just little bursts. It was cool to see how excited Micheal was to drive this relic. Cheers
@@911Percent BTW have you lowered your 993 ? It looks very cool. Just watched your winter laying up vid. I have a 996 4S and am thinking of getting some lowering springs.
Yes, I have a Bilstien PSS10 suspension on it and it sits about 5mm higher than 993RS. I like the coilovers because I can adjust the height if I ever decide to. Also the PSS10s have dampening adjustment that you can dial the stiffness of the ride. I highly recommend those vs springs. Cheers
@@911Percent Thanks for the info. Around $3300 fitted vs $1000 for fitted Techart springs. I doubt I'd want to change the stiffness or height on a regular basis and apparently the springs are a little stiffer than standard, so probably suit me fine. That's what comes with having a somewhat limited budget I suppose :)
Very impressive 3 part series. Thank you so much.
Thanks again! :)
Just phenomenal!
Thanks Geoffrey!! Cheers!

Keep it coming, I'm hooked.. I'm a fan of ur work.
Mint green was the surprise color at Rennsport! Loved your coverage of the event - great job, Jakob.
Thank you so much for tuning in!! Mint looked amazing in the California sun :)
Great job as usual Jacob.
Thanks for tuning in Roy!

Thank you for a nice job!!
Jeez that LM car spinning up every time he dared to floor it

Wonderful videos, it was an epic event @Gt3point2
Thank you so much Jeffrey! It was beyond epic!! :)
This is as sick as it can get. I can only watch this video only 300 more times. 911% Great Job!!
Ha, thanks Rick!! Did you check out part 1 and 2 as well?! :)
6:53 That green Singer... wow what a classy car!
Yeah no doubt, it was shipped in from Germany for the event! :)

Awesome video and lots of cool cars! Any reason why you didn't shoot the 997 section?
Thanks!! Because it was impossible to shoot every car there. I did have footage of some more cars that stood out, but I didn't include them all in this video. Maybe i'll edit a Rennsport 997 video one day. Thanks for tuning in!
More epicness! Thanks again for sharing all the great videos. BTW, I saw my first 911R in the flesh today. Total Porsche overload right now haha.

Awesome! sounds like a great car! Cool to see it out in the wild, a lot of these are on battery chargers in garages/hangars.. :)
Sooooo Cooooool! Another great one. Your access at the 9:00 minute mark on the Corkscrew is the best spot on the circuit. So jealous!
Ha, thanks man! The experience was next level! I'm amazed at the elevation change there...I couldn't edit out the panting in the video as I scaled it haha..
Great video, many many thanks... and for great music also😀
Thanks for tuning in! :)
Awesome Jakob!! Definitely shipping cars down for the next RSR
Thanks man! Yes, 100%! I hope it's at Laguna Seca again, that coast and the roads the vibe...it is all INCREDIBLE :)
Just mega !
Thanks!!! :)

Yeah amazing experience. I just wished they pushed the cars a bit more on the track :) Thanks again Jordan! Cheers
Many Maritime Blue cars at the event? I have just bought a 997 C2 in Maritime...

@@911Percent If you're in Houston for Tejas Treffpunkt 2018 (which I assume is on?), I'll be there.
Sweet, I'll definitely reach out to Tejas, though I'm not sure if it's happening this year.. But yeah, I'll be there if it is. Cheers
way sack package
7:50 hnngggg.
Shame about the shit exposure inside the GT1. Nice video though
