Great cover dude. Do you like the way Elixir 10-68 feels in Drop G? I am waiting for my 7 string from Solar and play only Elixir so I am kinda curios if Drop G will hold with that gauge.
Thank you ! Well for me, it feels very balanced ! The 68 on the bottom handle the G rather well, it's the best compromise I found between playing floppy strings (62 or lighter) and too heavy gauge to play and sound decently One thing to note is that this guitar is usually tuned to Drop G# Enjoy your new Solar man ! Those are Samson R6A. I got them like 7 or 8 years ago so I'm not sure you can find them anymore. And I haven't try any other monitor in my setup so I don't even know if I like them or if I'm used to them if you know what I mean. But for a first purchase, they got me pretty far !
