    Why does the host fall so smoothly? Is it the lower leg that kicks, the higher leg that pushes, or does the host go along for the move?
    Some resistance will reveal more about why Imanari's roll is so effective

    • @KrigRaseri
      @KrigRaseri 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's the same motion as a scissor takedown. One leg behind the opponents ankle pushing it forward towards you and acting like a tripping hazard, the other leg pushing the opponent away from you, so the opposing forces force the leg straight and you to fall. Then throw in the momentum from the spinning then want bam thank ya mam.

    • @1946FreddieMercury
      @1946FreddieMercury 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your head may be too close to you opponents leg when you initiate the roll, so you lose your momentum and end up with your opponent standing over you instead of falling back.
      You should also try to make your opponent fall down at an angle, in the direction of the leg you're attacking. This prevents your opponent from simply stepping back to get a solid base.
