Awesome video. Thank you for sharing your experience. I currently have a Kubota B7300. It’s 16 hp and I pull a 4’ brush hog too. It’s underpowered and takes me a long time just to brush hog 3.5 acres. Im thinking about upgrading to a 2023 John Deere 2025r
I think you'd be happy with it man. It was pretty pleasant doing mine, and handled the hills a lot better than I expected. Just keep an eye out because I think the newer 2025r has the smaller engine in the 1025r
That's a very pretty piece of land. Lime it. A lot. The broom sedge (not hay) and cedar saplings are because your soil ph is too low. And I think that machine wouldn't have a problem with the thickets you passed over. It's not great big, but it's pretty darn powerful. Thanks for sharing your experience.
The old joke of how do you eat an elephant - one bite at a time! You tractor/mower combination while it may seem small to others, if it works for you and you like it don’t worry about what others would say. When I was buying my tractor package I got a lot of flak from a dealer (whom I ended up NOT using) when I told him I wanted a 4’ tiller and not a 5’ tiller as I had specific needs. Anyways, I love the seat time and wouldn’t mind cutting that with your combo!
little advice ! Load your back tires. It better to have it an not need it than to need it an not have it. It was one of the first things i did when i bought my Mahindra 1626.
I had an JD 850 compact diesel tractor. It had a 3 cylinder diesel by Yanmar. Ran like a top. Mowed ditches with a 6ft finishing mower. Never fail me. Wished I never sold it😢

👍
You have the older, bigger model of the 2025r. The new ones are smaller and I'm just h guessing that's where the complaints are coming from.
We also have our 255 Massey Ferguson back tires loaded
Those who are negative on the 2025R are mostly those who don't operate one
You should think about burning that field off every year. It would be easy to do and much faster than bushhogging it.
If works 4 u , it works 4 u. Better than walking mower. 😊
I would think after spending 20k+ it should cut grass.
Buy a yanmar 325 much better tractor and thousands less.
